Well your'e entitled to your opinion and if those are you halo cars, then so be it. They're not mine as I don't aspire to own either, I respect them and unlike yourself, I respect other people's views on them.
You appear to have a funny idea of respect when each occasion you went into a thread about a car of interest and only to dismiss the car based on your own pricing hierarchy. A price hierarchy as you call or as I would refer to it as what I personally consider value for MY money. I have plenty of car mates who would buy cars that I wouldn't own. I have no disrespect for them for it but at the same time if I say 'It's not for me' none of them have a tantrum over it!
I find it quite strange how although I've merely expressed an opinion in a polite manner, my own opinion and not one I'm forcing anyone to believe that it genuinely appears to annoy you that badly. Why not just ignore and move on?

I have no problem with Ford, they've made some brilliant cars and ones I have huge respect for so it's not a case of simply slating them.

well I don't think so as a non-Ford fan

I am far from a troll and generally respectable to people on here so I really don't see the need for your unpleasant attitude.
I never accused you of being a troll did I rather the person who you felt the need to defend. Again you have jumped back in before thinking about it. As for my "unpleasant attitude" it really is just the natural reaction to dumb comments like the one below which show a distinct lack of respect especially as the person producing them didn't even have the nounce to check what he was regurgitating was correct. I defended someone who was called a "d!ckhead" for posting up on a car forum. By responding like that to someone, whether they're factually inaccurate or not makes you look like the aggressor/troll whatever you want to call it.
I'm baffled by this whole lack of respect thing? Who's it disrespecting if someone gets a fact about a car's value wrong? Are you actually insulted by that? Seriously. If so then you must get annoyed at an awful lot in this world.
Relax, it's just the internet!

I'm not against Fords, as a petrolhead it would be ignorant not to respect some of the iconic cars they've built over the years. Simple as that. I'm not a Ford fan (or fanboy). Don't think that by quoting me twice that you've some how caught me out, I'm not a Ford hater, nor am I into them. That's not that hard to understand.

Why have you edited the post to omit your childish comment Alex? Says it all really doesn't it! If you knew anything about Yipper you would know why he offends so many folks on here and why most think that he is in actual fact a complete d!ckhead.
I'll repeat; I have no problem being obnoxious to either of you, one a troll and the other who can't help but jump in before they have even bothered to look into what they are commenting on.

Actually because I re-read the comment and thought 'That was an unnecessary dig' so decided to remove it. If you knew anything about Yipper you would know why he offends so many folks on here and why most think that he is in actual fact a complete d!ckhead.

I don't know Yipper from Adam, I suspect because if I see a comment that I disagree with I'd probably just keep scrolling. I'm far from a troll but you think what you like. You seem to have no issue being obnoxious which is a shame as presenting a reasonable, polite response/debate/argument would credit you better. I just don't see the need to be rude to people.

I haven't called you a troll once, not once. Again your inability understand before commenting is telling.

So you're saying that this...
And this, look the same??
actually, show those pics to a non-car person (eg my wife) and she's going to say that they do look the same. Show them to a person with a passing interest and there'll be a recognition that there is some difference. Show them to an enthusiast and they'll point out the differences and why it's a better car/looks different etc. Show them to an RS fan and ask for differences and I suspect you'll be there quite some time going through the minutae And this, look the same??

The fact is a lot of folks are no more interested in cars than they are any other everyday appliance which is probably fair enough.

That said many manufacturers do the same - the polo gti looks like the golf gti, the S3 looks similar to the RS3, the M Sport BMWs are similar to the proper M cars.
They are all at it - providing customers with the 'look' of the halo models for a lot less money.
To most non petrolheads they would have to stop and compare to spot differences.

The LSD - has anyone decided it's worth having?
I know some people have decided that when they've added it it made some difference but then again when you've paid a load of extra money you're going to convince yourself it's improved aren't you?
I can't say I've ever notice any pressing need for one on the RS, at least in sensible-ish use, but I can see how it could compromise things like steering feel in normal use. So potentially makes the car worse not better most of the time?
The same as you, based on standard bhp, I have not felt any need for a front LSD with this car.I know some people have decided that when they've added it it made some difference but then again when you've paid a load of extra money you're going to convince yourself it's improved aren't you?

It already has a tendency to pull the steering on imperfect surfaces under full load and my experience of aggressive fwd cars with LSDs is that it can pull the steering even more under full load.
SO, I don't see a need for one, BUT if it was part of the kit I guess you take it and let their decision to add one, wow you :-)
I also expect that this car has had the engine fix put in place so all the "bring your AA membership" is tosh.

So, is this Race Red the same shade you got in the limited edition Fiesta's? Those pictures make it look different but that could just be due to being under lighting and/or the sun. Is it a flat paint or metallic?
Out of all the colours they could have gone for on the flagship Focus, it had to be red. It just seems really dull, IMO. Especially given the colours offered in the past or even available on the standard RS model.

Best not tell him the classic car market will become non existent in about 30 years time when supply will far outstrip demand He is a Ford Fanboi with a Mk1 and Mk2 RS already though so slightly biased.....

All you will achieve is rub people up the wrong way and add nothing to the discussion.
