How does someone this stupid actually get the money to buy a car, or a driving licence for that matter. Has a care home somewhere lost one of the very special residents? Shocking and depressing in equal measure.

Ignoring what analogy would be correct for this scenario for the moment, OP, if, in the face of *almost* everyone in this thread who are, in one way or another, either kindly and simply, or slightly more antagonistically, saying that the assumptions you have made are, unfortunately, incorrect, then you should have a think that maybe it's not everyone else that is wrong, and it may be you have some unreasonable expectations when it comes to car warranties?

Sounds like you've been stuffed and the seller could have been more transparent but at the end of the day, it's your money and you need to be careful with it.

Maybe more careful than you have been? A bit of an expensive lesson though.

Anyway, hope you get it sorted.

Jeff, if you'd like to PM the reg no or even just the chassis number of your RS, I'd be delighted to ask our Ford Master Technician to have a look at the information held on ETIS regarding the car.

Also, as far as I know, when the head gasket goes on these it causes a bit of a missfire but is still driveable. Op is obviously not for real.

It's an embarrassment to the moderation team that this horsesh*t wasn't shutdown after the first page of nonsense.

I'm now curious to learn how much money the seller has given to Jeff to get the problem fixed!

Lol, and some people think punctuation is not important smile

Anyway Jeff, you need and engineers report to state that failure was due to an oem fault, not the mods, but you ain't going to get one of those I bet.

Surely this must be HumanDoing under another account name as wasn't the bit in bold exactly the same crap he used to post on every thread related to the FRS last year?

We appear to have a lot of dodgy threads and members recently. The cynic in me thinks there's an effort to drum up activity on the forum.

It's certainly working when threads like this turn into 23 pages and still going strong.

I don’t think 23 pages of this hogwash is doing anyone any good. Least of all PH hehe

Ford have repaired modified cars with this much publicised HG issue. Requires some persistence and a well articulated argument as to why they should fix it. Good luck with that. Maybe get an adult to help you?

It's rumoured a recall is coming this month or next month for all pre-Aug 2017 cars.

Possibly because the OP on that thread deleted the original post.

Exactly this. I've seen threads nowhere near as bad as this shut down, locked or deleted and this one remains. It's an embarassment that everyone has fallen for it, admins need to delete the thread and block OP as a troll.
