That, in touring spec with four seats and a manual box, looks about the best all-round version of the Evora to me. I wouldn't bother with any of the weight saving options; the benefit is too small for the ludicrous prices.
Couldn't care less if there's going to be another one along tomorrow, it wont make this a worse car.
You say 4 seats but to describe the rears as seats in ambitious unless you plan on transporting very, very small people. I had a good poke around a 400 in B+C's showroom last year and came to the conclusion I'd rather have the 2 seater and a bit more luggage room for those cross Europe trips! Couldn't care less if there's going to be another one along tomorrow, it wont make this a worse car.
Do they actually make more than one of each model they release...or is every car a new "edition"?
I'm sure they are very nice to drive, but when do we actually get something genuinely new?
It seems Lotus have basically been churning out variations of variations of variations of the Elise (and its many derivatives) since 1996.....at ever escalating prices.
Back in 1996 it was a few £k more than an MGF!!!

You wouldn't want to be in there for hours on end due to the slant of the roof line but leg space is actually better than a lot of 2+2's

My three year old daughter probably qualifies as a "very, very small person". GTEYE said:

Seems to work for Porsche... I'm sure they are very nice to drive, but when do we actually get something genuinely new?

There's a lot of difference between the S1 Elise and V6 Exige, wouldn't you say? And although Evora is the first different type of car since the nineties, it's still less than 10 years old and the evolution has been rapid. Bear in mind this isn't a conglomerate with billions to spend, so a 5 vehicle range isn't going to happen overnight, despite what some incumbent chairman liked to have thought.
