Saw a DiscoSport in Met Green with black pack and it looked awfull IMO.
Aintree Green. Not available on 2018 cars as I found out when I ordered my latest Disco Sport.LR also took a dark blue off the price list. Both colours are available on other - but not all - JLR cars.

On the other hand, I think the proper Disco in that spec (with dark grey wheels rather than glossy black) looks phenomenal..had ham said:
That really is a dreadful looking car - although the dark colours of that one hide it better than most - but my awful poison-dwarf neighbor has one in a light grey, and it looks like st.
Love that colour green though, just not on that.
Exactly this. The new Discovery is an absolute joke. I just don't know why you would buy one when it looks the way it does. Such a shame after the wonderful Discovery 3 / 4.Love that colour green though, just not on that.

He said the dealer told him they are really struggling to sell due to the high starting price versus what you actually get.
Why would a dealer ever say that to a client who's about to / has just spent tens of thousands on the car in question?David87 said:

I genuinely prefer the Disco Sport TBF.
As for colour, dark green has been rare because after the D2 and RR P38 a lot of dealers tried to break association with the old 'country/county' image and persuaded customers that greys, silvers and blacks had better resale.

It's a lovely looking car from the front bumper to the C Post. Aft of that...We had a day in one last summer. Once you're inside you soon forget about the arse end.
Startech do a kind of bung for the back end that cleans the tailgate up. There's not much to be fine about the bloated backside.
400 for sale on AT, many with hardly any mileage.
Over half of those are 2 litre as opposed to 3 litre.
Some of the small cheap wheel sizes on a £50-60k is frankly laughable though.
Some look lovely, some awful, I don't think I have every seen a car more spec dependant than this.
Reading the Velar forum, there are still some big issues with quality, and having been through 2 rejected F-Pace's last year, I am watching to see what happens with pricing before I even look at options.
The problem from the beginning was prices ranged from £45k to £80k for what most people would say was the same car, of course it isn't, but most don't know or care.

You've had 2 JLR's and are considering another one. Hook, line and sinker!Leonard Stanley said:

The boot lid of the Discovery is indeed absolutely appalling, but it’s unfortunately more than just that. The entire back of the car just looks like st; everything aft of the front doors needs binning and starting again. Quite how Land Rover have made it look so bad and yet less practical than before is remarkable.
It's the slab-sidedness, combined with the copycat Disco Sport styling that does it no favours. And there's something awkward about the size of the wheels. They are probably larger than ever but they seem overwhelmed by the body, whereas on the Disco 4 they are "just right" between size, style and sportiness (ugh I hate that word!).
