High quality alarm clock - Phone addiction
Discussion
Slightly odd one, but I am looking for alarm clock recommendations.
I am not ashamed to admit I am relatively addicted to checking my phone, even with it on silent I want to check it after a few minutes unless busy doing a job, and if I come off a call to my partner in the evening often just sucked into checking fb/ph/etc. To I would like to be able to leave my phone downstairs away from the bed.
Obviously mobile phones are great, the bundled app on my android handset allows a huge range of alarms, noises, snooze options tells you how long you have till it goes off. Yet most clocks i have seen, including the Oregon Scientific I have from pre-smart phone days doesn't even have a 7-day alarm, queue it going of at 7am on Saturday when I forget to turn it off, or not going off at all Tuesday morning when I pressed 'cancel' not '24h repeat' the morning before.
I have looked at 'Daylight Simulation' 'Mindful' options, but they appear to start at £65 and cost £150 for anything claiming to have a 7day alarm.
Would still likely use my phone when away from home, but if I can get 90% of days right I hope habitual change will occur.
Suggestions and comments welcomed.

This is exactly why I'm building my own Arduino-based alarm clock.
At the moment I use a really old, cheap alarm like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acctim-Ingot-Travel-Alarm...

Just buy the cheapest LCD alarm clock you can find. With just a simple on/off button, that you set as you go to bed on weekdays and don't touch on weekends. If you get one without a light you will quickly get out of the habit of checking it during the night.
The only time I've had trouble sleeping was when I realised I was constantly checking the time on an LED alarm clock I had at the time. I put tape over the display and slept perfectly from then on.

Loads have 7 day alarms now.
Don't go looking for one that has the potential to have you fannying around or you might as well just keep your phone upstairs.
Set the alarms you need, then leave them. If it hasn't gone off, go back to sleep. Simple snooze button and you're away. Maybe a sleep function so you can drift off to the radio or music of your choice.
I have a Revo Superconnect. Like it a lot. Old school looks. Decent alarm settings. Can use any media source I want to sleep to or wake up to. It's handy to have as a source of music when getting changed etc too as it sounds good. But tbh most simple alarm clocks will do the job for less money.

Echo Spot?
I mean, with a house full of android phones and chromcast audios.... ... I am sort of also aiming for less connectivity! Did think if you could get a bluetooth or wifi programmable one, but somewhat defeats the point!
Cheers for all the suggestions.
