Nah - much too long - think of how heavy the badge will be.

I suggest the TVRD

Then when it has broken down, the owner can just polish it ....

Finished it, hope you like it, it's practically a gold mine of information. Speaking of gold, have you finished your piece for the Daily Fail defending Paul Goulding and freedom of speech? Or have you been distracted by a celeb's apparent wight gain?

I was wondering how TVR were managing to still drag this whole thing out for so long as the deposits must have been blown ages ago, seems The Welsh assembly have still not learned there lesson having wasted, what $6m in consultancies etc on what we all knew would never happen, a race track in the arse end of nowhere, and I am Welsh! so now no doubt another £2m down the pan. These things are just cash cows for the consultants who are usually also the directors of the white elephants!

Another useless asset we now own like the local airport which has been a ghost town for years.

In the mean time Wales has the worst performing schools, a growing homeless population, NHS on it knees. This is 2018 remember.

Hopefully they can make some of the tens of millions of pounds back that our Welsh Labour Govrnment lost us when they sold off loads of land way too cheaply last year.

The Schools and the NHS are on their knees as a direct result of the Conservative's Austerity measures. And their pathological desire to privatise the NHS, whatever the (human) cost. FA to do with WG.

That's according to the BBC, which reported today on Welsh Conservative unease about whether or not the public's money had been properly safeguarded.
"Conservative unease" over 500k?!!!! After the bds have given (and lost) Carillion BILLIONS (nee Carillions) ? Just a little bit of hypocrisy going on there I think...

Nee means born, you mean nay, if you want to sound like Shakespeare or Tony Hancock.

In this country, it's impossible to rationally debate anything with a Socialist. Whatever you say it'll be the Tories fault, if it was done by another political party then they'll be behaving like the Tories, if it didn't happen then it's because the Tories didn't do it and if anyone should take responsibility then it's the Tories that should. A true Socialist will always have the last word, whether it's worth having or not.

There's already complaints about the back end. Imagine how big it would have to be to put that name on biggrin

I was using “nee” in the context of “formerly known as”....

I’d argue that the exact opposite of that is applicable to those who predominantly populate this forum.

As a follow Welshman Paul I’m very surprised by your comments you would prefer TVR to have moved to Birmingham or any other location that would have given them a few quid? How about Amazon they had a handout and have a big facility down in South Wales creating hundreds of jobs? The airport came with 400 acres of land airports aren’t cheap you would prefer Wales didn’t have one at all?

Welsh gov (not assembly) played a blinder getting TVR from under the noses of many others.

Other than sponsor the local rugby teams shirts for a bit, what actual on the ground presence does TVR currently have in Wales at the moment? its all smoke and mirrors still. Do you really think TVR had the pick of the litter with locations, if so why end up in Ebbw Vale of all places, even the locals think its a joke. Next stop was Northern Ireland probably! remember Delorean?

Cardiff airport used to be booming, the promises were it would be booming again when the Welsh assembly bought it, not seen any evidence of that. I want the airport back like it was in the 90s

Wales is where the snake oil salesmen always seem to flock, with their big bag of magic beans in tow to suckle on the cashcow that the clowns down the bay have in the barn.

LG remember that, what was it, something like £38k given to them up front for every job they were going create, built them a huge factory as well for free, other than a few cleaners and security guards not one job was held down there.

How about that other white elephant the superhanger at St Athan, the smiley Welsh MPs flocked around that when it was being built, all having their pics in the papers, they all soon did a runner when it stood empty for years. Now handed to Aston Martin to use as a skidpan as little else is happening in it still.

What a good idea. Some actual commercial forward thinking from a government entity...remarkable.
Really? If it was a good thing to do there would be a private investor wanting to invest. This is something that should be well outside the remit of government, they should support industry/jobs by lowering taxes to a minimum.
