Most beautiful? God no. Aged very well? Yes. It still looks modern, almost like it could the the outgoing model, wouldn't call it beautiful though.

I wouldn't say it's beautiful, but they have aged quite well, more so in facelift form.

E60 is still ugly, but it's less noticeable because so many other manufacturers have followed suit. It's the new norm.

If Doc Brown were British he would have built a time machine in that.

I know the Lagonda gets a lot of flack, but I think it looks good for that era. Sadly Health and Safety have dictated what a car needs to look like so we cant have mad designs like that any more.

A thread about beautiful cars descends into a discussion about BMW saloons. What madness is this?

I have to admit I hate the pre LCI interior, somehow the LCI is much nicer...

how many times can a picture of a 15 year old BMW saloon be quoted?

"Anyway, the main list ended up featuring globulous monstrosities like the bulbous Jaguar XKSS,"

Are you insane?

its about half the size of anything on the road today and a tenth of the weight. Also one of the prettiest cars ever made. .

Eh? The E39 wasn't any better:

Plus, it had two different steering systems (r&p / rb), unlike the E60 (r&p).
And both are far better than the F10, which is generally regarded to be a better looking car than the E60, at least in contemporary reviews.

How was I totally unaware of the Porsche 904?

Gratuitous 'modern' shot probably 'ruined' by big wheels that I think looks great hehe

The only small flaw is that isn't, nor ever has been, a Porsche 904.

This is like that moment in QI when they ask a question to which they know there is an obvious but wrong answer. Who will challenge this, as Olivera obviously has his finger on the 'ah-oh' button?
PS I think the XKSS is horrid too.

I possibly rank amongst the worlds greatest Alfisti in my love for the Giulia QV, but I wouldn't say it was beautiful. Not compared to some other cars...and certainly not compared to plenty of other Alfas over the last 100 years.

Great looking car, but not beautiful IMO.
