The only ward in the country to ever elect a UKIP MP to the house of commons is waist deep with tired old X Types.
They'll invariably be polished to absolute perfection but will be sporting a badly fitted aftermarket chrome wheelarch kit to cover up the rust, a wonky second hand leaping cat on the bonnet and at least one Union Jack badge on the back along with a totally legitimate disabled driver badge from ebay
Make of that what you will...
The only reason you even said this was you were hoping to get cuck points off politically correct people. I guess you are one of those "men" who want to keep allowing immigration until we are outnumbered in our own country (Britain was 20% non white back in 2011 from the census, it will be more like a quarter now, and still letting more in) Do you think China, India, Pakistan, China, etc. are doing this? Man up you little cuck.[/quote
Oh do get over yourself please.
It's just a fact the without the benefit and willingness of migrant workers willing to come and contribute to UK PLC both the private and public sectors would collapse like a wet cardboard box overnight. I for one welcome it and hope it continues despite the rabid and ignorant narrow minded hostility some of the political spectrum has displayed towards immigration.
If you think somebody purely white and charmingly polite and dressed in a 1950's nurses uniform is going to wipe your arse when you can't do it for yourself anymore you're in for a very big disappointment.

I speak 3 languages, and a smattering of 3 others, have lived in six euro countries and drive 3 foreign johnny cars.
Still I would vote Leave and do like the Xtype styling so there must be a connection.
There are other reasons to be UKIP, even some brown people are, things like *jaguar" sovereign democracy and this.
Google population pyramid and see where the world is heading.

Jaguar Steve is also spot on about the ownership demographic these days. A lot of red faced, daily mail reading UKIPers.
I have a lot of sympathies with the socialist cause, and as a result, I bought myself an affordable and highly capable barge (3.0 X-Type Estate) that is all things to all men - with the exception, perhaps, of being beautiful, but beauty is a bourgeois distraction anyway (see: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2018/jan/...My Jag, built by a domestic, highly unionised workforce, is a beacon of the left...I have now also bought a bright red Fiat Panda, to align myself automotively with the red brigade. The fight continues, comrades!
On my 2nd X type now. Both 3.0s, 1 auto SE 1 manual sport. Auto SE is a wafter but with a great balance between handling and comfort, manual sport feels much more like a period 3 series. Not quite as sharp but with much better traction particularly out of corners. Severely underestimated by anyone who hasn't wrung the neck of one round a circuit.
Although mine has a mesh grille and Quicksilver backboxes.
Does feel quite small inside particularly in the back but I love it. Have also driven Mondeo ST220 which feels like a tin can in comparison and you need to do your research properly before buying to know what to ask about and what to look for.

I have to say, I have done a bit of reading and they are very tempting - seems a lot of car for the money. Put off by horror stories of (i) transfer box failures and (ii) horrendous rot in the sills. Although mine has a mesh grille and Quicksilver backboxes.

I've ran a 2.2d auto on an 09 plate for just under two years, aside from an EGR valve, it's been good for the 35k I've thrown at it. I'm told the facelifted car is the car the original should have been. Auto with diesel, full compliment of options, and some slightly less gash wood veneer than the earlier cars.
Still looks the part when it's clean, and Mondeo remarks aside, it's generally well liked.
If I was buying petrol, I'd have bought an XJ, though.

I've only ever been in one X Type, which was doing duty as a cab on Guernsey.
It creaked and rattled worse than any other car I've been in, and bits of trim were falling off.
It was an absolute heap of st and spoke volumes about the lack of build quality or design integrity that went into these cars.

My mums friend had a black facelift 2.0 diesel one and it was awful to drive, maybe the engine had something to with the drive itself however everything else was just awful compared to my E46, it was also a late model, can’t remember what year exactly and my E46 was a Y reg!
It was a shame as it’s such a nice looking car, her one was all black, like de chromed apart from the wheels and I always told her I’d buy it off her when she decided to sell it!
I think in the right colour combination, the X - Type looks better than the XE.

Transfer boxes only fail if they run out of oil because leaks are not dealt with. All transfer boxes fail like that. Early ones didn't like repeated full throttle starts with 3 litre engines and manual gearboxes but are fine with auto box as the torque converter softens the power delivery. Post 04 they got an extra flange in the case to control the twist action from the gearbox output shaft so failure is very rare.Horrendous rot in the sills. Some of the early ones are a bit poor but it's rare in post 04 again. It's also not every one, just look before you buy and read the MOT history.
Avoid 02 plate autos. A plastic valve in the gearbox is prone to breaking leaving you with a non functioning gearbox.
There are lots of other little quirks like rubbish headlights (normal and easily sorted) incorrect front toe in settings causing excessive tyre wear (again normal and easily sorted) and other similar things so you don't just drive one, you have to get to know it.
Nice history on the x type Jag'=a monster in its class,,ive had some awesome performance from mine=2.5ltr v6=231 horse power, taking the lead with the new Genises sport coupe but i still crave much more power, can this engine be modified to output almost 400 horses without upgrading to a bigger engine ? i rather keep these simple features tht the car comes with and how much wud it run me in cost for such an upgrade??? i am in the United states ,so am wondering if it best to bring the car in a shop for tuning purpose,,i know tht this job can be done ive seen it work on other old car's by these great mechanical geniuses,am a Die hearted fan of European cars so do assist me in my quest by sending me the relevant info' needed ....
