RE: Prior Convictions: Till death do us part

Mine would be Alfa Romeo without a shadow of a doubt, especially given you've been so generous as to have them all factory fresh.
To have such a fantastic range of beautiful cars to drive about in every day I can't imagine I'd miss much.
Fancy a bit of a racey commute?
Need to take something to the tip?
Sunny weekend drive to the pub?
Executive car park competition?
Lunch in Monaco?
Really want to torque steer into a hedge on the way back from the supermarket whilst looking and sounding fantastic?
Want to give children nightmare's?
They really do seem to have covered most niche requirements, and those are just a few of the red ones

Interesting question with no obvious answer:
Mercedes: No proper sports cars (lightweight and manual), otherwise a strong contender. The G-Wagen fills the proper 4x4 segment.
Porsche: No proper 4x4s or luxury cars, ugly seems to come fitted as standard to all models.
BMW: No proper 4x4s or very good sports cars (Z4 is too big and heavy). It's all rather corporate barges nowadays.
Toyota: The back cataloque is tremendous and contains everything I would want but they seem to have given up on interesting cars now.
Audi: The TT is great but I don't consider it a true sports car, also they don't make any proper 4x4s. Otherwise I really like them.
On balance I think I'll pick Toyota. The MR2, Supra, Celsior, Century, Land Cruiser, Soarer, Celica GT4 etc would keep me happy for quite a while and I live in hope that they'll rediscover their sports car mojo and get back in game with new fun cars at some point.

Ford is a good shout. You might never feel cossetted inside, but the range of Mustangs, GT40, GT (2005 and 2017), RS200, Focus RSs and the like would keep you amused.
Absolutely, so Ford for me, too. Throw in the F150 Raptor, Puma, and Capri and I think every road/requirement is covered. Many mass market brands would do: Nissan, Alfa, Chevrolet, Honda...
Renault might make an interesting left-field choice. Hot hatches need no introduction, you get the GTA and Sport Spider as full-on sports cars, a strong selection of very pretty coupes and classics, plus the Safrane Biturbo for cruising. Then there's all sorts of fun little oddities like the Avantime and the MK1 Twingo.

No one saying Ferrari or Aston? With the 4-seaters in their back catalogue and SUVs in the pipeline, they' ll shift your kids and garden trash. No need to mention the great stuff but anyway, say with me "D-type, 250GTO, V12 Vantage or Enzo..."
Me I'd go slightly left-field of them and choose Maserati. I've always had a weird attraction and maybe better I never find out they're really a bit crap.

Green Oval for me - no question.
With any other make my life would be probably be more orderly, rational, less messy, a great deal faster, more punctual, more efficient, less stressful-come-MOT-time and quite a bit less expensive overall - but alas - nowhere near as interesting. I suspect many like-minded owners/sufferers in the Alfa and Jag contingents will know what I mean.
I remind myself of this when the b*****d refuses to start in the morning.

They made one or two road going 300SLR coupes. Mercedes would definitely be in the running for me. No other car company has such an illustrious and varied history, IMO.
Lotus would be another contender for me, but let down by the lack of modern family cars. Once the new SUV appears they might overtake Mercedes.

Can I have Jaguar Land Rover as one company?
You didn't quite get the "one brand" bit, did you? Actually, I wonder if RR count as separate from LR?Anyway, no need to guess which way I'd be going, is there...? I have owned a couple of non-Citroens at various times. They've mostly been mistakes.
