Classic. Undergoing full restoration.
Restoration at Walkers or somewhere else

I used to be a regular there when I had my Delta - top spot

It's in Romania now, probably have to give walkers a call sometime to purchase parts. Some of the evocorner guys used to slate them but they never gave me any problems.

I've had this since 1995 (23 years so far) and don't think it'll ever leave my ownership (and prices are continuing to climb!)

That’s wonderful. I’d love one, as well as a Renault 4

Had this Cosworth for 13 years, sold it in 2003.

Had this 944 turbo for 10 years, think it's a keeper now.

I was split between having one of these or the M3 I ended up buying in January, mostly because I jus my couldn’t not tick the M car box just once. If/When the running costs start to break me it’ll be one of these the M3 gets swapped for. I’m a big fan of the 3.0 6 cylinder in BM’s. 90% of the time the cheap 330 I had before the M3 sounds nicer to my ears, it’s just that 10% of induction noise past 5500rpm that’s utterly sublime!
I know what you mean!

For me the E46 M3 might have had the wondrous S54 engine, but sitting in it you could be in any other E46 - like my 325ti Sport Compact.

Whereas in my Z4 Coupe you sit lower and just in front of the rear axle - it's a totally different experience, and it does rev to 7,000. laugh

The ultimate option is probably a Z4M, but that does have cost implications!

They're out there, although getting good money now. Beware of the bodge artists who think a blow over the filler will do, or pop rivets sheets over the floors.

I've had this for the last 12 years.
There aren't many alternatives at a similar price/performance ratio, and it still puts a smile on my face every time I take it out. Seems to put a smile on other people's faces when they see it too.

Not one, but two, possibly three, and maybe even four....

My M635CSi which I've owned for a dozen years and my daughter will get in about fifteen years time as she loves it so much.....

Alpina B10 4.6 Touring that I wanted for years before it finally surfaced and I manged to buy it...

Then probably the Alpina B12 5.7 limousine as it's just such an accomplished family car....

And quite probably my tired old 635CSi which I've had for over twenty years now, kept alive and going and reasonably solid despite all the odds and nobody would give me tuppence for anyway...

Loving the leather/ bodywork colour combo on this one. Perfect alloys too. How old's the daughter? Not perving, just interested to hear the age a young un is interested in such a classic, and what age she'll get her hands on it.

Had this since 2004

But unfortunately, this happened on the Kemmel Straight at Spa (at 144,000 miles and about 50 track days):

So I now have this one which is being treated much better and will hopefully last longer than I do (it's done 19k miles and is not only driven when it's not raining):
