Probably not to other people's tastes but my Twingo 133 cup is my keeper. Its the only car I have kept for more than 2 years, now with over 5 years of ownership it won't be sold.
Its currently going through a transformation from road car to rally car. With engine mods, cage, lots of wight removed.
I am still struggling to find a road car to fill its place so I think I will end up with another this year.
Unless you’re particularly attached to that exact car (and I totally understand it if you are), you might find this to be ultimately a lot cheaper and quicker...Its currently going through a transformation from road car to rally car. With engine mods, cage, lots of wight removed.

(Not mine by the way)
Not a car, but I’d never part with this little Honda monkey bike. First bike I ever rode; learnt how to ride on it in my parents back garden aged 7! I restored it to what it is today over the winter months of 2013/14. I don’t actually wear leathers when I ride it, I’d used it to nip over to my Dads to go out on his BMW R1100S and couldn’t be arsed to get changed

Then probably the Alpina B12 5.7 limousine as it's just such an accomplished family car....
Very sharp. It must be unique now?Edited by nobrakes on Sunday 18th February 03:12
There are a handful or so short wheelbase cars in both 5.7 and 6.0 but sadly very few are driven or driveable.

Its not faster its an r1 so has the standard 133bhp mine has between r2 160bhp and r2 max 210 power circa 170bhp with more to come. R1 cars also have to waigh 1060kg for them to get there passport. Mine is currently sat at 900kg ish. The seats and belts are out of date on the one for sale so your looking at least another £1000 to get it on to a stage.
I have purchased competition cars before and I have always been sorting out other people's messes to get the car running right. So this is the second car I have built. And so far I am up 2 £1300 in costs to build the car Inc new cage, seats, belts and other smaller bits another 3k at most and it will be finished.
Its not always best just to buy although it is a lot less hassle! But where's the fun in that lol
I have bought my Monaro with the intention of never parting with it.
This is my second one, and I regretted selling the first the day it drove away. I don't want that feeling again.
Simple car, with lots of miles, in average condition, but there's just something about these cars.
Edit, found a pic!

She's nine - I've let her know she can have the car when she's twenty five.
Wow, an impressive age to become a car fan, especially for a little girl. Nurture that passion!Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
