yep modified XR4i,had it 21 years in April, was my dads for 5 years before that too....

That is very nice Nano, I enjoyed my XR4i ownership ( also a black one )

What mods have you done? I fitted the later 4x4 rear end bits ( LSD, bigger rear ARB and discs ) on mine plus some suspension bits, Wilwoods at the front and Janspeeds

Although these are not rare.
Every time I drive it, the thing boggles my mind with outright pace.
The mechanical noises,clunks,clicks add something.

I have owned it just over two years and just shy of 700Bhp makes me smile every drive.

Cant see me ever parting with it.

Two for me, the first one is a ‘normal’ Ford Puma as it’s sentimental and I can just never part with it. Had it 15 years and have spent a fortune keeping rust at bay and mint over the years, still has full main dealer history to...

And then there is the financially ruinous Racing Puma that I but and bolt restored for my wedding. Love this car, just looks amazing in my humble opinion, even it’s not as nice to drive as a normal Puma, not that quick!

These were all supposed to be 'for forever'!!!

That said, a reshuffle is in order this summer, and might have to let the S2000 go. That'll be a tragic day... The Z4MC and Honda have been such a dynamic, thrilling, and exciting duo. Wish they could stay a pair. :'(

Brilliant! I used to rally a few pumas and would love another.

Envious of your garage block. I once went to look at an Audi I was interested in buying, and he had something similar out behind the tennis court.

Miles from the standard of a lot of stuff posted but I'm currently forcing myself to sell a rather old, rather tired and utterly fantastic old Volvo V70 and my reaction to doing so has even surprised me... it really needs to go, but it must be like dragging the old family pooch to the vet for the last time. You know it's the right thing to do, you know it's for the best and you know life moves on but for some reason, you just can't. I had a Cavalier Turbo for 18 years that I vowed never to sell, it went last year with no remorse but this old thing... I honestly don't think I can do it and that speaks volumes. I've even found myself upping the price over the past week and also being rather disparaging about it to potential buyers, which also speaks volumes. It's bloody ridiculous... but...

My Suzuki Ignis Sport, picked it up Oct last year and wouldn't want to part with it. So useful for the short trips I do, a cinch park, amusing to chuck about and only cost me £550.
I'm sure there will come a day when its beyond economic repair/maintenance but I'll just look for another ratty little fun box and so keep on enjoying the benefits of small, cheap, chuckable cars.

My Sapphire, I always wanted one as a kid, from being a poster on my bedroom wall and my dad having one from his work at the time and scaring the bejesus out of my silding around on the back seat!

Told myself it would never be due to value of them then a friend of my brothers was selling this seven years ago now and she's going nowhere. Ever.

I know what you're saying, I guess my point is that even if that specific car crumbles in to oblivion, I'll always see the value in having that sort of car in my life. Just a different point of view I guess.

Couldn't part with this, wanted one since it was announced and finally got one August 2016 with 7k miles. Up to 15k miles, done many wales trips and Scotland NC500. Always seems to attract interest from enthusiasts. Hope to add a Lotus to the stable one day.
