Oh please.......
Putting glitter on an already very glittery turd.
When will the vulgarity end?
I remember when the G-Wagen was cool, this is just nasty.

Nothing wrong with that whatsoever.
Nice try.
Driving the same around Chelsea is a different matter...

Are there plans to revive the 65 too?
Now that is a beast on a different league - and plenty of scope for far higher output than previously. V12 6.5ltr bi turbo
Completely mad.

I’d wager that was mighty conservative too.
Does anyone know why, around two years ago, Mercedes moved their model designations to the right hand side of the boot, like BMW, he whereas since they moved from the centre of the boot (in the 50s?) the badge has always been on the left. Hence the G63 is now on the right with AMG on the left, whereas it was always the other way round? Main badge was always on the left (190E, 600SEL, C220 etc) and any ancillary badge (AMG, 4 Matic, CDI, etc) on the right. It's changed There must be reason. Any ideas?

Anything above what you can afford is to be deemed 'tat' and 'worthy for Oligarchs, Footballers (sorry, 'Footballists' ) and Arabs' who have 'more money than sense'.
Its all written in the PH T&Cs, haven't you read?
I could buy a new G63 tomorrow, but am neither an Oligarch, Arab or Footballer. Its all written in the PH T&Cs, haven't you read?

A workhorse, fit for purpose being used as intended.

How does that not make it Vulgar? It's chrome plated, its not like you can bash it about? I also note that it looks pretty immaculate? [quote = Tuvra]Nothing wrong with that whatsoever.

I think perhaps you might want to get your facts straight.
The front bars are not chrome plated and are not a show piece. They are in fact solid stainless steel and are not vulgar where I live, they are essential. Ever seen what a 7 foot kanagroo can do the front of a car, or driver for that matter? Didn't think so.
I live in Australia and actually use my vehicle for what it was intended, you don't have to have large dents and doors hanging off to be off road and in need of an indestructable and dependable vehicle that won't let you down in the middle of nowhere and 45-50 degree heat.
Suggest you get back in your box.

Thanks for these details. The size and cut of your bull bar / roo bar are visual cues that this is a functioning piece of kit and not a fashion accessory.I live in Australia and actually use my vehicle for what it was intended, you don't have to have large dents and doors hanging off to be off road and in need of an indestructable and dependable vehicle that won't let you down in the middle of nowhere and 45-50 degree heat.
As photographed, there might be a bit more shine to the stainless steel than if we were all standing there in the flesh. I dunno. But anybody who's spent time in Oz will acknowledge that driving in rural Australia or out in the bush are not to be undertaken in a cavalier way, especially in summer and particularly at night.
