Nothing stranger than folk then. I must say I'd find it extremely hard to walk past, say a manual Ferrari 360 or R8 V8 (cars that would also be 'investments') and buy a wrapped Ford Focus for the same money.
I never found the MK2 interesting anyway, but the people that can spend that on one probably don't even notice the cost. aaron_2000 said:
The dealer is local (15 miles away) It apparently sold for mid 50's. Are you forgetting £80k Escorts, £100k Sierras and £30k Fiestas? Just like Porsche, any Limited Fast Ford will sell for whatever people want it to sell for.
I'd say that the jury is out on if the MK3 Focus RS will become a future classic and rise significantly in value. I'm fully aware that history dictates that all RS models will hold their value and will eventually go up, even more so with these limited edition models.I'm just personally a bit skeptical about this new one. I'll probably be proven wrong though.

I find it very hard not to think the arse is going to fall out of that in the not too distant future.Where is that dude that was on hear a few weeks ago saying he had two build slots for the red special edition and was wanting £5k for one. Christ if you had £77k to spend on a wrapped focus you need your head looked at. That’s not far of GT3 territory and I know which one we would all have rather than one with a tuned Volvo engine. 😂😂
