What do you all think of this? I personally think it looks absolutely dull and generic

Dull and generic? So just like the last couple of Focii shapes.
The first was something different. Still boring though. Everything since has been the same with more creases. Only interesting Ford's are all US based now Australia stopped making the Falcon (GT, Mustang, Raptor).
I can't even think of an interesting Euro Ford made in the last 30 years.

Exactly, like pretty much every modern car. The MK1 was something absolutely groundbreaking, the MK2 was still a fresh nicely styled car, the MK3 could be mistaken for any Hyundai, Kia, Vauxhall on the roads. aaron_2000 said:

The mk2 was terribly boring on release, only got interesting when the ST came out, then was significantly improved with the mid life facelift and RS model. The original mk2 cooking version was a big flop for me.
This new one looks like a development of the current design. If you told me it was a Mazda or Toyota or daewoo I'd be nine the wiser though.

I'm disappointed. I was hoping the new Focus would look like something in between a Zonda and an Aventador. Ford have really let themselves down with this sensible hatchback design.http://www.motortrend.com/news/spied-ford-focus-ca...
