It is concourse condition. It is a 1958 PA Cresta, 3 rear window version, extremely rare. It is owned by a friend of mine.

Why was I ever proud of this?

Bought in 1982 for peanuts as the owner had lost his licence and his (nearly new) car had been left in his garden for three years. I (thought) I got a bargain, but after changing all the tyres, battery, and fluids and putting back on the road, after hundreds(slight exaggeration)of leaks and breakdowns I ended up changing all the hoses, the radiator, the brake pipes and lots more, running it for a couple of weeks before my first big trip, a run to London (from Edinburgh). I got as far as Newcastle-upon-Tyne before it holed a piston on the A1.
At around 4 years old, you can already see the faded paint and rust coming through.
