Why not trace his plates? And why was there blood if the airbag popped (perhaps he was wearing glasses though)?

Either way a right mess, 14mths inside and for what?
The police still have to show who was driving, in case the owner denies driving, to get a prosecution
Thanks, I did not know that. Still 14mths is a long time for having an accident. Sentence does seem strong when there had been no injuries.

Obvious troll , that is more than having ''an accident''. The Bentley driver was insanely reckless and definitely driving beyond both his ability and road conditions. It was only a non-fatal because, by the grace of god, the old boy had invested in some of fords modern engineering. In many other older cars he very likely would have been brown bread.

I think someone has escaped their carer or forgotten their Meds. Just for entertainment what do you think would be a fitting punishment, tickling the soles of his feet until he promises to be a good boy?

looks like that car was not taxed either - odd, you would think they could cough up enough VED cash

When do you think the incident happened? (This is quite an old story.)

Eh ?

Just what did you use to search then? If you want to see if someone has already posted up a YouTube video use the key part of the URL as your search criteria. In this case UnW_613i-BQ.

So use google and include "site:<redundant space to get round ridiculous auto-smilies>pistonheads.com" (or even just the word "pistonheads") in the search string.

I would go with this but allow for an hours adjustment in case of non-adjustment/forgetfulness for Daylight Savings.

he was traced by blood on airbag according to that

so nicked ?
Possibly not.

The owner could have been driving it but would naturally deny it having fled from the scene "Wasn't me officer, I swear it, must of been stolen, yeah that's the ticket... stolen" but the blood on the airbag would have convicted him.

14 months is a joke of a prison term..
I sort of agree, but OTOH whilst he's in prison he's costing the UK taxpayer £40-60K per year. I'd rather a shorter sentence and a court order saying he can never control another vehicle in his life.

Defo something fishy gone on.

Doing almost 100mph at 7am in the morning in a quaint little villagey bit and spinning out on a mild bend and then running away... extremely odd behaviour.
Would have been odder at 7am in the afternoon.

Surely it's the Kuga's fault for not giving way? wink

This is the way the Bentley was pointing - hardly the sort of place to do 40 let alone 80+

Proves how needed dashcams are.
That could of gone 50/50 without dashcam.
