The fact the F50 pips the Enzo, 288, and F40 in this group test tells you all you need to know about it.
I am desperate for this magazine article any idea how to get it
Try here?

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2...

Wouldnt place too much stock in the 'results' though

Magazines are in the business of controversy a lot of the time and the same writers will tell you an Astra GTE is better overall than a Golf GTI etc etc wink

Peter Stevens was apparently never a fan of the styling, he said it basically lost the plot in the middle. Mentioned here: https://www.pistonheads.com/features/ph-features-h...

I've seen just recently some chit-chat (sorry, I don't recall where) about how the ride is much harsher than an F40. Maybe it was SSO on his new blog, dunnow, sorry. But the gist was that you could drive an F40 for hours, but 2 hours in an F50 was all but intolerable.

With only 349 in the world, I suppose a good number of those are taken up in people's collection who wish to own the full set, 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, LaF. That'll help keep the prices up.

F40 for me any day. FWIW.
I did post that up in a blog on censored on the F40 vs. F50 . It’s not so much the ride being harsher, but the vibrations from the engine that get transferred directly into the cabin that make it a taxing car to drive long distances in. On long distance road trips, we always took the F40.
