Why waste money on expensive binoculars? Simply stand closer to the object you wish to observe

But then, come the warmer and sunnier months, think how much fun you'll have with the orbital polisher. There's hours of entertainment to be had using the various grades of polish, rags and pads.
Now, that is a good comeback!

Mine had not been washed in a few weeks, was filthy....

I hate it being dirty, so spent a day last week on it.

Wheels and arches snowfoamed and cleaned
Snowfoamed
Rinse
Snowfoamed
2BM with the new Dooka Shampoo
Rinse
Decontaminate
Polished some of the worst areas (although it was a little too cold to do the sills)
Sealant as it is Winter (this time was Sonax Polymer Net Shield). In summer it will be a glaze and Zymol Vintage.
Tyre Dressed
Exhausts Cleaned and protected
Windscreen polished and then resealed as the sealant was pretty much dead.

It then got another wash after 20 miles because I was bored. It probably will get washed this weekend.

Then we move house on the 5th March....off from the 1st wink

It's better for the car - the layer of muck holds damp whenever it rains etc. and it's also better for you not presenting yourself as a slob - it depends if either of those things matter to you, of course smile

I really want to do all that, but in 2 days it will look like my earlier pic, so the part of me sat in the warm, watching Winter Olympics is busy telling the bit wanting to go out and wash the car to "shut up".

It really, really, really annoys the cr*p out of me to have a dirty car, but given the state of the roads I have no choice but to use to get to work, by the time I get home on Monday it will look like it does now - I'll have expended all that energy (and warmth) and everyone will still think I'm a slob.

What will the people at work and in my road think of my dirty cars? This level of nonchalance, slobbishness and inverted snobbery takes effort, you know. Actually. It doesn't wink

The galvanised, painted body panels will probably cope.
