So been on a good run today and all ran fine until last 5 miles when if I accelerated above 3000rpm then I lost power? This seemed to happened in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear. Car still ran but power chop back at 3000rpm?

Any one help? Certainly a tad concerned!

I know this will sound like a stupid question but.....when did you last put some petrol in it? You don't need to know the background to this question laugh

Could be a "million things" but I'd try checking the two big hoses from the air flow meters to the throttle body . Any air leak there (split or partially come off ) will cause problems scratchchin

What about something like a blocked fuel filter restricting flow? When did you last change it?

Ok so that’s a lot of checks, which would be best starting place?

Can I assume the first suggestion regarding fuel is not related to using V Power unleaded?

Not unless you didn't put enough in because it's so expensive laugh

Your're not trusting the fuel gauge to tell you the truth are you?

Always trust gauge.... when I am on flat land and the month starts with an M just before a full moon........lol!!!

Will do checks and come back.

To aid ability to sleep or not to sleep tonight, is there a chance this could be something expensive if not what has already suggested?
