The same can be said of every car for sale. You wern't quite so disdainful of buyers putting down millions for a 'pointless' car when we were talking about the one lap wonder EP9!

That is a truly horrid car. I've never been a fan of form following function, and this looks like someone was told to draw a Zonda R from memory who had only glimpsed it once, fleetingly. I feel the same way toward the McLaren Senna: I don't care how fast it is or what circuit laptime it can achieve, it's just ugly from every angle.

If you do work for McLaren like you imply, cheerleading the Senna whilst spreading rumours about the Valkrie is pretty cheesy. Is this part of McLarens marketing strategy?
No cheese here.
I don’t work for McLaren but I have heard rumours from inside Aston.
Not surprising given how complex the car is and the tough targets they’ve set themselves.
I hope they do succeed, and I’m sure they will, it just might take a bit longer and cost a bit more than they anticipated. Newey is a genius race car builder but this is his first road car. There were bound to be a few bumps along the way.
Just thought people on a forum like this might be interested.

There was an announcement about the engine last week. Very impressive as you would expect, but comes as a price- will need reviewing for a engine rebuild at 60,000 miles! Owners will either barely drive, or not flinch at service costs so non issue.

Looking forward to both this and the Mercedes project too.
