Love it but how does a "carbon monocoque and carbon body'' weigh so much?

We could go one nut each for a 50/50 share.

Thanks. Well that makes more sense. Still a bit disappointing IMO for an otherwise perfect car.

Last years CTR cost $793,000, for info.

TBH If my numbers came up (alas they haven't) with the crazy choice of crazy £ cars about, my punt would go on something like this or a Singer. Both truly amazing cars that to 99% of the public would look like a 20 year old classic and thereby not attract crazy attention. I can't put my finger on why but these recreations do something for me that the majority of modern cars simply don't, or even if they did I wouldn't want to drive them due to the attention you'd get. That maybe a very negative view but there you go.

Its perfect, the chassis is just something else...

Crude you mean other than the bell crank suspension? Doesn't exactly look cutting edge IMO.
You'd lose a lot of that scaffolding when it's chopped for the Baja conversion.

Carbon monocoque is stretching it a bit... carbon floor pan maybe.

I'm exactly the same.

I'd far rather a CTR than the McLaren Senna at a similar price.

Sorry, to ask a dumbass question...is this thing air cooled?

It is utterly lovely, but if there I'd take a Singer and then a Yellowbird over this to be honest...

It's not air cooled no.

It's a modern carbon bodied 991 sized car in the shape of a classic 911.

Ah, thank you. In that case it would not even get a look in compared to a Singer...however I suspect it may be cheaper than one of those!
