I think the buffalo leather gets mentioned in many adverts but relatively few cars had the stuff.

The leather in an E32 is pretty thick by modern standard so everyone assumes it's buffalo leather but it's not.

I had that stuff on an E34 Alpina B10 Bi-Turbo and its matte in finish.

I have the buffalo hide in my 85 745i (E23). Nice but impossible to keep clean after all these years.

I had a car in store near Heathrow for UK visits home, there were several in the warehouse mostly owned by titled foreigners.

Thank you! For years now I've been 'that guy' whenever someone mentions him. I've tried many times, he's just a bore of the worst kind. Elaborate and ultimately pointless. I've never understood what people see in his writing.
