Hm. Could it last until MOT (next year)?
I suppose the question one has to ask is, "am I feeling lucky?".

Just saved this 65,000 mile 2007 C1 from going to the breakers.

It wouldn't start and the rear bumper was hanging off.

I gave £150 for the car. Pushed it down the street and it bump started and ran nicely.

A new bumper bracket was £8.50 and a second hand starter motor was £20.

Oil filter, air filter and three plugs cost £19.50 and I had the required 3.2 litres of oil in the garage.

Total cost £198.

Drives well, does 55 to the gallon and the car tax is £20.

It has a few scuffs and marks and the lacquer is peeling from the front bumper, but it's quite presentable.

Dunno whether to try to sell it for £600 or just keep it as a spare car.

Excellent "everyday/1st" car that, a little "girlie" for some tastes. But seriously a good run around to the shops and work etc while in the garage you have something a little more tasty.

It's kinda where I am with my 3 litre V6 4x4 that's a little over BB budget.

I sold one of these for 2k last summer. Don't underestimate the appeal for 1st time drivers who's parents can't afford a brand new mini

I may know of a 1.0 2004 Yaris going for £500ish soon. 130k miles, loads of history, mechanically good, bodywork a bit rough.

Sold it for £850.

Could have sold it five times at that price.

Handy, assuming it stays reliable. A friend had to bin his after it gave him too many expensive faults.

Anyone sold their shed on Ebay? Been up on Gumtree and Facebook without a sniff. Wondering if its worth sticking on ebay auction?

What are you selling and how much?

Put a Yaris on both on Sunday night and it was sold by Monday evening. The FSH helped.

Not bragging, just saying that facebook and gumtree can shift cars.

Volvo S60 2003 petrol for £800. Not the car most people would aim to own. biggrin

Seems expensive I've seen S60 go for 500 with 12 not. Tax and petrol will put a lot off as this end of the market is just cheapskates.

2.0T SE spec. I'll see how it goes for the moment, and then drop down the price and see how it goes.

Seems about the right price then unless it's looking tired or has 180k miles!

lowish milage look o.k, and low tax and high mpg seems good value. I would buy it, just a bit too far away.
