You see a little log burner and it would be cosy too

That is *proper* Jimmy Savile.
I remember Saviles white 2 door range rover for sale in the early 90’s. Had a campervan conversion on it. £3500 I think.

What carries on going until in dies, then you only find out its horrible history after you've got rid.

The idea as one as a day/night fishing van appeals but you'd really have to do it all yourself, the thought of a second hand mattress makes my teeth itch never mind anything else

Some of you chaps are far too fussy.

I like it. Very stealth, you could get away with camping where you aren’t supposed to and proper cheap too.

Yep even some cheap places in India I even sleep in a truck 4 nights a week normally , it's just the idea of one in the back of an old van/people carrier that I'm finding a bit off putting for some reason, like I say a brand new mattress for a few quid and I'd be fine weirdly

Yep, that’s the way I’m looking at it. Street parking = free campsites for life

laughlaughlaugh at all the above

Collected the vehicle Thursday, no issues in journey back. Car has literally every bell and whistle on

Mechanically speaking wants some attention to the hand brake, front blower and think the front near side suspension needs some closer inspection, will have a look when I've got 10 mins to see what is happening there, most likely damper is gone.

Kitchen Fixtures and fittings - some want replacing like the hinges etc but mostly ok

Bed - Won't be staying, will be removing and fitting a Rock and Roll fold down bed with three point belts. Current sofa bed looks very uncomfortable

Flooring - Once the bed is swapped this will need replacing, thinking some beechwood laminate or similar would look nice

Captain Answer I thought it looked good as a day van/stealth camper but I'm glad you're losing the bed lol

Same, bought it with the intention I'd most likely have to re-do out most of the kitchen and bed for a day van for taking the kids and dog to the beach.

Looked at a few other options like Bongo's, T4/T5's and other vans and would I think have had to do the same anyway, the advantage I see with the Chrysler is its actually comfortable to drive and got all the toys like cruise control, auto box etc
