I'm only asking for a single (outlandish) claim to be backed up. Not asking for evidence when challenged.
What statements have I made? My figures came from both Car Sales Base and the FT.
Your link/download shows 12mths ending Jan '18 Range Rover sales as 42,660? And down by 37%?
You may think my approach is dogmatic. There is only one claim I don't believe, and that is that Jaguar LandRover, as a business, see Bentley as a competitor. A business who have just a small element of just one model that overlaps with one model from Bentley, and whose average sales price is a third of Bentley's, it doesn't make sense. That's the common sense bit. It's also at odds with any conversation I've had with JLR (Including before JLR was JLR, (and with any Bentley employees, dating back to when it was RRBMC). It's further emphasised by the other comments on here.
But show me a presentation, or a quote where Jaguar LandRover (not just SVO) see the JLR business as a Bentley competitor, and I will willingly write you full and formal apology ;-)
....and I'll join in with bhing that JLR's quality is crap compared to their targeted competitor, Bentley. (which is where the whole debate started).

It shows 57,493 (+3%) for calendar year 2017, not bad for a car launched so long ago. Go and look again, your comprehension seems to be an issue with this.loudlashadjuster said:

<facepalm>Why don't you respond to the answer to your question about wanting written evidence which I gave a few posts up?
1 - for the 1000th time, the claim was that JLR saw themselves as a Bentley competitor, and should have their brand quality compared with it (and not that a halo model would compete with a Bentley)
2 - no-one manufacturer list the cars they DON'T compete with
