Don't argue with daemon. It makes his brain hurt more.
I'm not arguing with anyone - i'm not saying that i'm right and another person is wrong. I'm expressing my opinion based on observations and experiences as an A45 owner. Thats my perspective. Your perspective may be different.
One or two others, it seems have to "win" on the internet and if they dont "win" then the other person is stupid or thick.

The AMG-line has a different look from the non-AMG-Line. (the non-AMG-line is the standard A-class, not the A45 )
And where did i say otherwise? I talked about the A45 and AMG-Line cars. I am quite aware there are non AMG-Line A class out there but they're not the ones that replicate the look of an A45.Ares said:
And I didn't say RS to S, I said S to S-Line.
I know you didnt. However you seemed to have missed that the equivalent Audi brand to AMG is RS, not S. Thus Audi have RS / S / S-Line / Sport. Mercedes miss the "in between" S spec equivalent. People calling the A180 an AMG is right up there with people putting RS4 badges on an A4 or M3 badges on a 320d M Sport. If you disagee, fine.daemon said:

Ah I get it now. Youre pissed off because AMG Line cars look the same as your car. Or more to the point your car looks like an AMG Line.
Not pissed off at all. Merely giving my view and observations. But if twisting what i am saying helps you think you've "won" an argument on the internet, then good for you!
I'm sure your friends will be impressed by your prowess.

To be fair it's not really that simple; it's mainly small profile tyres that have the issue. My E90 has 205/55/16 tyres and I've just switched from non-RFTs to RFTs. The ride and handling have been improved noticeably. All an RFT does is provide a stiffer sidewall - the suspension then needs tuning to suit. If BMW can't manage this, like they can't manage a DBW throttle in a petrol car without a lag, then that's largely (but perhaps not wholly) their problem, not the technology.
I'm surprised you've gone for run flats because I find they skip badly on poor surfaces, they tramline and if you hit a pothole or similar you get an almighty thud. Just to reply to the above, isn't it a good thing that one can buy a good handling car without also having to buy a powerful engine and the weight and running costs that brings with it?
My wife for instance wanted a good handling car for the lanes around where we live, but is on a budget and also has no real desire for a fast car. She bought a Civic Type R primarily for the ride and handling, but is now facing selling it due to high running costs. The BMW philosophy of being able to spec sports suspension on whatever car you like works brilliantly in this scenario. I don't understand why anyone would criticise this freedom of choice, unless it made them feel insecure about the status offered by their expensive performance car with sports engine and suspension.... Caterham for example will allow you the same thing, but typically for 7 owners, nobody gets all funny about a guy with a 1.6 and wide track, R dampers etc.

And I haven't got any friends to impress anyway
