Or you could just get a petrol which is much more suited to city use.
Until the council decide that you can only have an electric car.
That's a while yet. I just vote we get rid of the worst offenders first.
It's Camden, anything more than a two wheeled cycle will be penalised.
A few of them have been penalising diesels for a while - Westminster and Islington were first I think. The rise of diesel has seriously damaged air quality in London over the last decade and it's about time something was done about it.

The permit for my petrol has also gone up but fair enough it's not the last work in economy.

But on the road where I'm temporarily living the diesels literally stink

Thank-you OP for opening my eyes to what a Corbyn lead future would entail, sorry you have to suffer through it (unless you voted for them, in that case take your medicine)
Except that more Conservative councils charge for diesel parking- Richmond upon Thames and Kensington and chelsea in London have been charging more for longer than Camden.
Aside from which as a general rule Tory councils charge residents more to park their cars than Labour ones. The average charge and fine bill per resident in a Tory authority was £31.69, 41% more than the average Labour council figure of £22.50.
In London, Tory boroughs received an average £96.23 per resident and Labour authorities £46.42.

A Tory Government will allow you to own a diesel and charge accordingly. A
A Labour Government just wants to ban them.
