Have to say I’m with Integroo on this one. If we’re honest, most people commenting would do nothing more than maybe wind the window down, swear at them and then drive home to write about it on the internet. And then call 101 to report it or obtain a crime no. if they needed it for insurance.

And IF you are a genuine hardman who is happy to elbow 10 year olds in the ribs, what do you actually think’s going to happen by escalating it with them? Let’s say you get out of the car and chase one of them down, I can see one of 3 outcomes:

1. You catch them and actually kick the st out of them (or even just a gentle elbow to the ribs). In which case I hope you are happy with a criminal record, because there’s no way you’re coming out of that smelling of roses.
2. You catch them and they and their mates laugh in your face, and you just look like the weirdo dick shouting at a bunch of kids in public.
3. You catch them and you see a terrified 10 year old pissing them self, who is suddenly realising the consequences of their actions. Are you really going to give them a kicking?

I’m not some lefty SJW, I am well aware these kids are little s, but I’m not convinced an elbow to the ribs is the solution. And I’d like to think that in the cold light of day, most of the people advocating it on here wouldn’t actually choose to go through with it.

Agreed. The ‘hard men’ are either on a wind-up or have the same lack of maturity as the kids they are complaining about. Would be fascinating to know their ages as there seems to be an amount of harking back to the old days when a cuff round the ear (or shoeing or a few bruises) solved all the problems. Some news for you chaps - that time never existed! Kids have always misbehaved and there have always been bad parents. Couple of anecdotes:

Brand new Sierra parked outside my new built house (so maybe 30 years ago). Bunch of kids appear and decide to have a battle with some of the builders waste - literally chucking stones at each other. Sierra gets the inevitable clunk after a kid avoids a head shot and I steam out demanding names and addresses. Visit address (a shop) and get blanked. Red mist recedes and realise the futility of trying to get reparations. Kids will be kids and it’s just a dink in the door. Would I have felt better if I gave the kid a shoeing? - actually no, the idea of beating up a 10 year old makes me feel sick. So 30 years ago it was no different.

My father was at junior school in the old days. Corporal punishment was the norm and one kid had had the whack on the hand for some misdemeanour. Next day the child’s mother comes crashing into the classroom and starts beating the teacher with her umbrella! This was in the 1920’s. So 90 years ago it was no different.

Calm down - st has always happened and it always will.

I had a rugby ball thrown at my car not long back by a teen (15-17 im guessing), he was "trying to pass" it to his mate on the other side of the road while i drove down the street over my car.

It was a residential area so i was doing 10-15mph max (speed bumps and low car), it ttted the driver side window- pretty sure it was close to breaking as its frameless and the roof was down.

The delinquent who threw the ball got a shock when i got out the car and had a chat with him, his two mates on the other side of the road kept their distance. I advised him to stop being an idiot, in quite a loud way and said he was best off getting better friends who had his back instead of being a pair of pussies.

No violence, pretty sure he learned his lesson and the dog got a new rugby ball to destroy when i got home- win win.

When I was serving in Germany, a couple of US Air Force kids killed a Woman by throwing bricks onto a Autobahn from a bridge. Pretty sure the Husband or Father of the Woman would of been happy to leave it to the police if he was the one to catch them. Imagine he would of gone Harry Brown on them. Couldn't imagine the parents of said children having any complaints if their little cherubs came home slightly damaged.
