I really do wonder how some people's brains work , I've taken a wrong turning so I'll carry on and find a safe place to turn round, no I'll just pull into fast moving traffic , I'm sure they'll stop
Yep and this is the UK; you are likely happen across a roundabout very soon.wack said:
I'm guessing the motorhome driver wasn't 17 so how can a driver with any experience think it's OK to just pull onto a motorway at 5mph
I've seen, on more than one occasion, a car stopped on a motorway slip road indicating and waiting to join. Sometimes they're stopped on the shoulder just after the slip road ends, as if they tried to join but didn't have the courage to get the boot down a bit.ashleyman said:

In the Pug vs Morgan clip, if it's a single lane road why is there a sign saying Dual Carriageway?
Obviously Morgan is at fault but surely they should have removed that sign when changing the road layout.
DC relates to the number of carriageways, not the number of lanes: so long as the carriageways are separated by something more than a white line (eg the grass strip here), it’s a DC.Obviously Morgan is at fault but surely they should have removed that sign when changing the road layout.

Why don't those trucks have some sort of limiter so that it can't exceed say 5mph with the rear elevated? There are loads of vids like that on youtube, Something I have noticed watching these dashcams
When a vehicle pulls out of a side road into the path of another, the car on the main road almost always tries to swerve around the front of the offending car, and a collision occurs because both cars are heading for the same bit of road,
if drivers swerved around the back of the car that's pulled out in most cases they would be heading for a space that's getting bigger and reduce the likelihood of a collision.
It must be a reflect thing to go round the front.

The trouble is you have the benefit of hindsight watching these. There will be many many clips where someone has swerved to the right and avoided a collision because the car pulling out of the junction as stopped in the the nick of time. That footage will be deleted and filed away as non-events. In that situation if you had pre-empted a crash and swerved to the left instead of the right (in the UK) you might end up hitting the car when they do notice you and stop exactly where you're now pointing the car at. And it wouldn't look all that great on the footage. So I think on balance of probability swerving right is probably the right thing to do. LOL - seem like a few of those truckers forgot where their brake pedal is...Although the bonus clip at the end was worth it

Latest exposed, worth it for the self-righteous bellend in the final clip
