What is it with these Dash Cam Warriors, launching themselves across a roundabout and completely ignoring the rule that states give way to cars already on the roundabout.
yes

I'm glad others spot this.

So many incidents caused by the DCW flooring it. This also covers turning into minor roads, proceeding through a green light when it isn't clear to do so and stopping for about five minutes when they nearly cause a crash. hehe

They seem to have missed the bit in the highway code where it says always give way to avoid an incident.
Instead they drive into danger then hammer the horn shouting "CAMRUH!"

MLM meets roadworks. Probably the same ones that brake on slip roads.

4 big signs they drove past telling them lanes 2+3 were closing plus ones with flashing lights.

Was that a dashcam or a satnav stuck in the middle of their windscreen?
Probably a dash cam "you need a dashcam to protect yourself from all the idiots on the roads these days" rolleyes

Was that a P plate in their rear window? Might go some way to explaining their confusion and reaction if they're a newly qualified driver.

It does look like a P plate, doesn’t it! Would help if it was one of those magnetic ones so you could actually see it at a distance. Also makes a very good case for mandatory motorway lessons.

The dash cam driver was a numpty for not anticipating the obvious situation about to unfold and easing off, instead triumphantly going right up the MLMs chuff whilst braking and horn blaring. Totally unnecessary.

THe dashcam driver did ease off, leaving plenty of space for the MLM to merge. What they didn't reckon on was the MLM slamming on their brakes (to under 40!), and they still were able to accommodate it.

Dashcam man went in to the single lane section at 69mph, hence the speed differential.

Did the Renault have a P plate?? Both drivers being numpties. Obviously the Renault driver was in a dream world in the middle lane like most middle lane drivers. Dash cam driver should've backed off before the roadworks, then wondering why he had slam on.

If the dashcam driver had been as observant as the MLM, and had just sat in the inside lane closer to the MLM, there would have been a crash. I think it's clear who would have technically been responsible for the crash, but without a dashcam it looks like it's the other way around.

See the company, not surprised.
st equipment, st jobs and st wages.
Chimps for drivers in my experience.
Note he's very animated in the wing mirror and weaving so not concentrating on the road, hasn't even got the brains to stick the cruise control on. He's able to speed up and slow down as he's running empty, very annoying when trying to pass.

Seriously?

What was unnecessary was the MLM standing on the brake pedal at the last moment. Note how the displayed speed halves - and then the MLM has the nerve to dawdle along at 40mph.

Cammer should have backed off a bit more, earlier in the clip at 0:25 cammer passes a large TNT lorry, and only 30 seconds elapsed before the MLM nailed the brakes. Ergo, there was a massive lorry trundling away less than 100 yards behind. The cammer therefore should have backed off a little more, primarily due to the wanton cocksocket in the renault but also to ensure a more controlled last-second switch on to the hard shoulder and swift undertake, as 40 tonnes of TNT lorry concertinas the back of the renault and not the cammer. 10pm on a tuesday night, that logistics lorry will be full. What's to say the renault doesn't decide to come to a complete halt; half on the hard shoulder and half in lane 1? They've already pulled off a manoeuvre of mind-boggling stupidity, sometimes a second one follows. That leaves an escape route of either in to the coned off area, or the hard shoulder.

Oh look, the renault does the same thing again @01:42 and drops speed from 50 to 40. The cammer is now a decent distance behind the renault and reacts perfectly to the second dollop of insanity regurgitated by the statistic-in-waiting.

Cammer did well to keep his/her cool, there isn't even a squeak from the cammer. Frankly I'd have st my pants and hurled them at the renault.

I know DCW-bashing is the norm but on this occasion I'm 100% sticking up for the cammer. Had that motorway been any busier, and other vehicles between the lorry and the cammer, the actions of the cerebrally-atrophied bell-end would have resulted in the lorry rear-ending any preceding car, or the cammer. 40 tonnes of TNT lorry doesn't stop on a sixpence.

While I'm in full on rant mode, why the juddery fk does the renault have its rear fog light on? N/S/R light is obscenely bright, do they think it makes them look cool to have their front fogs on? I bet we'll shortly see the same renault concertina'd to the size of a crumpet after swerving across another motorway and nailing the brakes in front of a lorry full of dog food.

Anyhoo...it's past midnight. Happy Pi day.

Doesn't mean the new driver is necessarily driving though, could just be a st driver.

Either way, the sat nav/dashcam at full brightness on the windscreen won't have helped at all. Surely basics like 'don't have sat nav blocking your view out of the windscreen' are taught when learning how to drive? And keep left unless overtaking too. One of the first things I was told when I was learning how to drive on dual carriageways.

I suspect it might be a replacement bulb that's wrong and/or has been incorrectly installed.
