It's not so much that he didn't look as he parked on the wrong side of the road and so didn't have a view of oncoming traffic. This happens quite a bit outside a row of shops down the road from where I live.... but the camera driver braked, so it's a minor event.

I got an insurance policy a year ago which gifted me a dash cam on the agreement I'd submit evidence in the event of an accident. Part of me thought "Cool! I'll finally be able to capture all the crazy s
t that happens to me on the roads..."
Despite being an incredibly powerfully built company director and thus competent driver (OK, not true...I'm just a teacher) not once did I review a clip that I felt I was blameless in.
It has therefore been an invaluable tool for myself.

Who the ****ing **** takes time to post utter non events like that on YT??? Car slightly unsighted so emerges slowly from parking space and stops when sees vehicle coming the other way. It's not even worthy of a mental note let alone posting up as some heinous YT crime. ... but the camera driver braked, so it's a minor event.

I can't tell if that was the cause or the effect of the collision though.Finally after 2 years of my insurance fighting my side for me, I have been found not at fault for this obvious crash for cash. It took the threat of court before the other side finally backed down.
