Delta taxi man giving a very "proportional" response to an angry biker who smacked his mirror.
That's brilliant - biker got exactly what he deserved!
Muppet.
That clip is almost as good as the biker who tried brake checking someone and paid the price in the most 'what could possibly go wrong' video ever.
Nice one.

Obviously daft from the pedestrian.

I'm sure his adrenaline is pumping but all he says afterwards are:

"yeah I'm alright man"

"she just ran out in front of me"

"I've got it all on camera"

x20 each

I think it says a lot about someone regarding how they react to something like this. His first reaction was to act in frustration at a woman lying down on the floor before trying to find out if she was ok.

Not the smartest. But the speed differential between the stopped cars and the bike didn’t seem smart either.

General question - when is it filtering vs overtaking? If a car was squeezing through that gap and hit a pedestrian I think most would see it as the cars fault?

Yep, as a biker I think the bike was heading into that too fast. With that many pedestrians about and the traffic at a standstill the chances of a pedestrian doing exactly that are pretty high.

Methinks the pedestrian assumed all traffic was stationary - and why wouldnt they

Sympathy for both parties really, and very lucky the girl wasn't hurt.
Still, she was in view as he passed rear of taxi- so he had more than a car length to react. Suggests going a bit fast. Really bothersome thing is all the comments on YT which think it was all girls fault and no lessons for the biker!

Caught on my dashcam but frankly can't be bothered to upload.

I was on this roundabout
https://www.google.com/maps/@52.0934346,-0.5135593...

My position was about where the silver Megane is, but in the right hand lane, going straight on (several cars had been taking the first exit), when a transit entered the roundabout from the left. If the car in front of me had been in the left, rather than the right lane, the van would've hit him.
If I hadn't kept to the right hand lane but had lazily eased over to the left for the exit (as many, many people do having "straight-lined" the roundabout) I would've collided with the van.

I was so startled I didn't pip, or flash my lights or even swear. Just looked amazed.

What possesses people to do this, it goes against every rule of driving not to mention sheer self preservation.
So, man in silver transit, you are an t**t of the highest order.

I'd say 50:50 - both vehicles were moving at the point of collision and both could possibly argue that the collision wouldn't have occurred had the other been stationary.

Great video.

Content isn't the best, but at least the video is edited down so you don't have 2 mins before and after of nothing.
