I'd like to think I wouldn't do what the cam car did trying to stop a foaming lunatic coming past again, but in the heat of the moment I might not.

I think he got unlucky and stepped on a landmine of knobhead there.

Couldn't see a limit posted, NSL?

Ah, cam car is a plum for such blatant speeding then. Civic probably doing the limit at the start?

Without wishing to sound too judgemental the cam car's music and the Civic driver's T-shirt tell you all you need to know...

If you listen to the conversation, the cam-car said the civic was going 35mph in the 40mph.

To be honest, there no reason at all to overtake down that road, plus the fact there are a fair few exits on the right.

However, when two tts etc etc.

i'm not defending the cam car but the civic driver seems to believe he's some sort of road captain and his retaliation of even worse driving was acceptable.

That's appalling. About the worst I've seen by the civic.

Speeding happens, it’s not the Civic driver’s job to ‘police’ it. And doing so by trying to create a crash? fking ridiculous. tt needs banning.

Even with a siren, how on earth can a police driver think they can negotiate a cross roads at that speed. Surely resulted in a prosecution.

Agreed, expect better driving than that.

You're not kidding. His awful hair and dress sense just added to my frustration - how can anyone go out like that? hehe

Witnesses say a siren and flashing lights, known as 'blues and twos' may have stopped the accident.

Engaging in a high speed chase in a little patrol car without having lights or sirens on and completely ignoring a junction... I'm guessing the driver wasn't trained in pursuits!

It’s got to, absolutely atrocious.

Civic bloke obviously out of control. Cam car driver bad, the pass wasn't worth it and the block was immature and obviously in response to the Civic driver speeding up to try and block the pass, before then re-passing.

Anyone trying to police the roads like that shouldn't be on the roads and that final brake test was extremely dangerous. The cam driver was a fool for being so close and 'engaging' but he did well to avoid that impact.

Too much Gran Turismo, not enough stinky fingers.

The brake tester at 49 seconds (and every single one that is ever seen doing it) should have an immediate 12 month ban.
That Audi driver was blatantly sneaking up the inside two lanes and hoping to cut across before the junction hence the slowing down an stupid behaviour once he realised he'd missed the merge!

Regarding stupid behaviour around HGVs, I was at a car show at the weekend and a chap was proudly telling me & my brother how much he likes to control 50mph limits on the motorway & dual carriage ways and refuses to let lorries carry on at 56mph by moving into their lane an slowing to 40odd -- I was somewhat stunned, my restrained response was to him it's one of the stupidest plans I've heard in a while and what business does he have deciding if other people speed or not. My brother is a HGV driver and I think it was only because he hadn't had enough sleep/coffee that he decided not to join in and give the guy a few more things to think about.

I totally agree.

That one on the BBC today really should be used in an ongoing campaign. People just STILL do not seem to understand the problem with using a phone while driving.
I don’t think understanding comes into it
people today just don’t give a st untill it affects them

I don't think the Range Rover was pulled for pulling out tbh as they did so with plenty of time and space without making the other vehicles already on the roundabout slow.
