Even with a siren, how on earth can a police driver think they can negotiate a cross roads at that speed. Surely resulted in a prosecution.4x4Tyke said:
Witnesses say a siren and flashing lights, known as 'blues and twos' may have stopped the accident.Engaging in a high speed chase in a little patrol car without having lights or sirens on and completely ignoring a junction... I'm guessing the driver wasn't trained in pursuits!
Civic bloke obviously out of control. Cam car driver bad, the pass wasn't worth it and the block was immature and obviously in response to the Civic driver speeding up to try and block the pass, before then re-passing.
Anyone trying to police the roads like that shouldn't be on the roads and that final brake test was extremely dangerous. The cam driver was a fool for being so close and 'engaging' but he did well to avoid that impact.
Too much Gran Turismo, not enough stinky fingers.

The brake tester at 49 seconds (and every single one that is ever seen doing it) should have an immediate 12 month ban. Regarding stupid behaviour around HGVs, I was at a car show at the weekend and a chap was proudly telling me & my brother how much he likes to control 50mph limits on the motorway & dual carriage ways and refuses to let lorries carry on at 56mph by moving into their lane an slowing to 40odd -- I was somewhat stunned, my restrained response was to him it's one of the stupidest plans I've heard in a while and what business does he have deciding if other people speed or not. My brother is a HGV driver and I think it was only because he hadn't had enough sleep/coffee that he decided not to join in and give the guy a few more things to think about.

I totally agree.
That one on the BBC today really should be used in an ongoing campaign. People just STILL do not seem to understand the problem with using a phone while driving.
I don’t think understanding comes into it That one on the BBC today really should be used in an ongoing campaign. People just STILL do not seem to understand the problem with using a phone while driving.

I don't think the Range Rover was pulled for pulling out tbh as they did so with plenty of time and space without making the other vehicles already on the roundabout slow.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
