I know, he's clearly an idiot.

Anyway he has e-mailed me again stating that it is in the hands of the police and he has also made a complaint to Pistonheads.
LOL - it's amazing that these self appointed guardians of the highway (whether it was him or one of his employees it doesn't really matter) are quick to call everyone names and criticize others and as soon as they get a push back they go running to complain and whinge that they are being picked on...

And he's e-mailed me again, inviting me to call him to "end it" otherwise he will leave it with Pistonheads and the Police, bloody hell it's not even my video, all I did was e-mail him to inform him that one of his drivers was driving like a "cock" and it didn't reflect well on his business..

I will also be hearing from his neighbour who is a "solociter" (sic).

Well as all I've done is send him one initial e-mail about the driving and then one other stating that any subsequent goings on were nothing do do with me, because they weren't, I'm not bothered as nothing will come of it.

Funny thing is he has been going on about harassment; which I haven't done, and yet he is now harassing me!

I see you've disabled comments on the video, did you get anything interesting from him you want to share?

I know it’s you who’s been sending emails and registering for insurance in my name. I want you to know I’m contacting the police and registering a complaint for harassment, even though I’m just a stupid carpenter.

I have the insurance info as well including your poor grammar, which the insurance Coventry on, the ironyconcidering you called me stupid.

Il hopefully see you soon, got my IT people looking too."

... and he thinks it's your video.
What does the tosser think they're going to find? "Yep, it's a video, on YouTube, of a bloke driving like an idiot".

I'm an IT guy... I know we're not actually detectives (although sometimes I feels that way) so saying "I've got IT guys on it" is the most retarded threat ever (doubly so seeing as they haven't even mentioned their specialisation... He could have hired web designers).

Given how thin skinned he is over it, I would bet my last quid, he was the driver.

Quality - So he's happy to give it large when in his van and flipping the bird to others but now he's got a wobbly bottom lip as he's been called out for being an a**e.

Seems like he's a "special kind of special" smile

That was my thinking too! Most would either ignore it or say fair enough crap driving cheers, will speak to the employee but as he's gone off on one you can bet he's the driver and how dare someone plaster him & his companies terrible driving!

Hope he gets done for wasting police time then when they see the video done for obstructing a highway!

He really should just create an account and post on here. Or does he need the IT to do it for him?

I am with the van driver to be honest, you know its a queue, just get in-line with everyone else, its not illegal to jump the queue but its bad manners to just presume your more important than everyone else and skip to the front! You wouldn't do it in any other situation in life, queuing at the supermarket or to get into a venue.

I will add I would not have acted like him both in the driving aspect and in how he has conducted himself since!

It's a queue because people made it a queue, if I went to the post office and saw two open kiosks, should I stand there spreading my arms and legs out as far as possible to stop "queue jumpers"?
Or at the supermarket, why doesn't everyone just stand in the queue for one till? Surely it'd be better to have one massive queue winding its way around and all the way back to the deli counter, than to have 10 queues at 10 tills? tongue out

Dude - it's not a queue. You think it's a queue. It looks like a queue, because other people like you get in-line. It's not a queue.

It's a merge in turn. A filter. You join like a zipper. This has been done to death on here.

By lining up in lane one (notice I'm not saying getting in the "queue") well before the actuall pinch point, all you are doing is extending the tail back. The often blocks other exits, or roundabouts, or leaves people vulnerable at the back on the exit of a motorway.

People do it where i live on one particular road, and it causes a tailback that stops me turning off to my parents house. It is utterly moronic and I'm flabbergasted how many people just don't get it.

it is NOT a queue. So you can't "push in".

You are a muppet for sitting in line like a drone.

I drive past these and merge in turn all the time, and all teh time I'm laughing inside.

At you.

:-)

Sadly, people actually do this in petrol stations, to the point the queue goes out the door and into the raining forecourt.

I also recently saw a girl in a car trying to hedge her bet on which kiosk at the McDonalds drive through would be quicker - so she held right back causing a tail back than blocked the roundabout at the drive through entrance.

It's just British queuing mentality, a lot of people apply the same line of thinking to being overtaken, in that the overtaker is jumping their personal queue.

TBH I know where the local merge points are and I will drive miles out of my way to avoid them, because if I find myself in lane 2, I absolutely WILL NOT be intimidated by social conformity into joining the "queue".

2 lanes = 2 queues. None of this you're pushing in rubbish.

I like how he acted the big man when in his van and now that he's getting some grief for it he's threatening to go to the Police. poor little baby

I'm amazed that Captain Woodwork is self appointed queue maker of our highways. What an idiot.

Any future emails he sends you, you should send a single line reply paraphrasing his.

'I’m marking your email as spam, which it is and blocking it, oh and you're a cock'.

I will drive down the empty lane until it says merge in, or whatever it says then indicate and WAIT until someone either lets you in or a gap comes up, I never push my way in. The Van driver is a tit, its not up to him to police the road for others, espececially when he is causing an obstruction by what he did. Then again, van drivers can do no wrong rolleyes

Unfortunately the zip system doesnt work in the UK, its usually me me me.......

There's an interesting dynamic with these not queues smile

Whilst there's a few cars, it's sensible not to zip, just all get into the relevant lane in good time and away you go, but there comes a tipping point when it makes sense in terms of road capacity and flow to use both/all lanes, and yet sometimes, like the video, it seems not to happen. It's odd.

Heading east along the M65 a few weekends ago there was a three mile queue of cars all lined up in lane one heading west. Nothing in lane two, because no one was intelligent enough to merge where they should have done.

At Junction 13 off the M65, heading into Barrowford there are two lanes, of course few people are clever enough to use both lanes, and on the odd occasion someone does, they'll try and merge into standstill traffic whilst still on the roundabout, clogging the whole thing up. Not helped by the fact the council installed traffic lights on the roundabout to apparently help congestion. But retards see a green light and go, whether there's a gap for them or not. All resulting in gridlock.

The fact that people don't even know the complete basics or use common sense behind the wheel is shocking, as proven by the reply above somewhere, 'I'm with the van driver' rolleyes
