TVP have asked media not to publish anything about the story.
They've also asked people with footage and photos not to publish online or on social media.

Perhaps they haven't had the chance to find out who's dead and notify next of kin?

DM said it was foreign. Poor people.

How didn't that thick realise they were going the wrong way? Hopefully they hit a massive lorry and killed themselves rather than anyone else. Sounds harsh but surely that's the best possible outcome...
The best possible outcome is for no one to get killed or injured, and for the perpetrator to be suitably penalised within the remit of the law.

Seeing as how the motorway is still closed due to the road needing to be resurfaced I doubt whether there will be much court action except for an inquest.

Those clips of the oncoming driver and bloody terrifying. Obviously, not everyone was so lucky to have an escape route. I hope whoever it is behind the wheel, is locked up and the key thrown down the Mariana trench.

When clips like those appear on twitter, there is always a bunch of leeches wanting to reuse the clips for free and amazingly a lot of people just say yes without understanding what they are worth. The news agencies make a fortune from licencing them out to news organisations.

Daily mail seem to have used one of those without permission.

Ethics aside..

if you had a clip like that that you hadn't published anywhere yet, what would it be worth to a news agency? I wouldn't have a clue.

I'm certainly not an expert, as I understand it, pretty mundane photos used by a major outlet are worth a few hundred pounds per publication and big exposure stuff can be worth tens of thousands. I'd put both videos somewhere in the middle, perhaps few thousand per outlet, split with the photo agency.

Biting my tongue here to not get involved with the comments.

Rider is clearly such a prick, taunting the old bloke then has his tail between his legs when the guy reacts. Nugget.

But to be fair the driver of the Vauxhall had no right to attack the rider of the motor cycle in the way he did...

Lack of consideration and understanding on both sides albeit more so from the old guy with the sticker in his rear window of a wheel chair...

The motorcyclist is completely entitled to drive down the middle of the lane at 40MPH.

Given it is a clearly vintage bike as well he can't really be criticised for taking it steady.

Agree - but weaving side to side was unnecessary.

Disagree - 16 plate, one of them retro-looking things. Reg plate is visible at 4m17s, with the L plate stuck underneath.

The 'About' comment on his YouTube channel says all you need to know about his riding.

The rest of his videos are no better. Looks like it was only a matter of time before someone got fed up.
