He braked because of the yellow flag. In his other vid, he explains that the marshall with the flag is too close to the corner so when you see the flag you are having to brake as you are turning in and its easy to unsettle the carblueg33 said:

Yup, it's that dcw mentality of "I have right of way and nothing can make me deviate" 100% avoidable accident.
I'd love to chat to him to try and understand that thought process!

Camron Noble has gone into the comments to defend himself "To confirm for everyone here he was found at fault by the insurances I wasn't looking in his direction I was looking down my exit as that is normal and at no point does anyone say hit him. I said idiot and my mate said who's this hero aimed at the person crossing the road."Well, firstly admitting that is quite shocking and he should be taken off the road for his atrocious observation skills, regardless of the fact the van driver is at fault.
Secondly he was on the horn instead of the brakes as so many DCW throbbers do.
