It most certainly did, a bellend who thinks it's ok to use 90% of the merge lane to overtake dozens of stationary cars and then begins blocking people for the last few hundred yards before the merge point.

What the hell is going on at the end with the Nissan that drove straight into the roundabout - that was odd.
The issue at the merge point looked to be a trucker driver who had no idea of how merge is supposed to work, who then tries to bully the cam car.

IMO truck driver is a knob like so many other knobs who can’t work merge points. People are so thick!

It's as though all the DCWs purposefully look for trouble - not anticipating other drivers being a bit unsure on roundabouts, not allowing cars with caravans the chance to pull in, overtaking when already travelling at speed. They could do with being pulled by the boys in blue, or even having a bump just to get their heads in order.

The ‘crash’ at 4:41 was so easily avoidable, he knew he was in the van’s blind spot. Drama seeker.
Watch closely. It looks like the DCW actually turns right into the van.

Another fking moron trying to prove a point.

Once contact is made, yes absolutely he does.

I'm guessing that the Nissan driver was having some sort of medical episode.

Big news article about it a while back. Occupants of the black BMW tried to rob the van and stabbed the driver to get at it. Passenger in van jumps in driving seat to get away and is blocked by BMW so rams the van and the rest is what you see in the clip above. Full sotry is on the van company's facebook page if you're interested.

If you are referring to the Vid with the nutcase of an artic driver at the beginning, i would put the blame firmly on the tt with the caravan for not knowing what tiger tails with solid white borders mean

The artic driver knows exactly what they mean. He just wanted to get one over on the car that he attempted to block at the start of the clip. Typical tipper driver. I can see why he was pissed off, but the lane was still available to use for another few hundred yards before the merge point so he's only got himself to blame for sitting in the queue like a lemming rather than using the available tarmac himself.

I love the way she just toddles off! Filtering speed slightly excessive...
Pretty common for people to cross the road there too. There is a sainsburys carpark she would have just come out of and is heading into York City Centre.
So he didnt see her step off the pavement, and anticipated she may cross the road, dork.

"hold their place in the "queue""?

If you'd taken a bike test you'd be aware that sitting in a queue of traffic would score a point against you. You'd be penalised for "failing to make progress". Enough minor points and you fail. You can rack up "progress" points enough in a test to fail (not making progress when it is safe to do so, and this includes filtering)
I believe that's no longer the case on the Mod2. Certainly if you did it while being followed by the examiner in a car you'd cause a bit of bother wink

Imho he was filtering too quickly, regardless of whether or not he could see her.
The test must have changed drastically them. I took mine with a stand-bye examiner - who was in a car. I was instructed, very clearly, NOT to wait for him. I was to make progress. I did a large portion of my test without him behind me.
Make progress, yes, but not filter.

Apparently since 2010 anyway: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

YMMV by school, region and examiner I suppose - mine have already said that filtering is optional on the test and recommend not bothering in the light traffic round here (Chester). If we were in central London I could see it being required to make reasonable progress.

I've seen others similar to that- it's ridiculous what some people do get past a bin lorry.

In this one though, bin lorry driver makes it worse by not looking behind as he moves off- there could have been a bike passing quite legitimately.

Playing devil's advocate here but a lot of bin lorry drivers deliberately go out of their way to ps off other motorists and get a kick out of blocking the road when they could stop close to the kerb rather than in the middle of the road. The footage shown above looks like the bin lorry driver deliberately tries to block the Astra from getting past on 2 occasions and unsurprisingly there's no prior footage which may show an earlier altercation or some deliberate blocking.

A long time ago now but I used to drive bin lorries for the LA on agency and even back then the attitude from many of the full-time drivers was "fk 'em" and to basically cause as much aggro as possible. These days with all the trucks now covered in cameras I imagine it's even worse as they drive deliberately in such a manner to cause confrontations knowing that the recording will show them to be 'in the right'.

I've not seen that where I live, but given that my local bin team have a system for deliberately missing the odd house to generate extra hours work (if householder complains, a special collection is made) other tttish behaviour seems credible.
Still no excuse for driving on the pavement to get past though- could have been a kid coming out of a gateway, not a binman.
