Sorry what did he do wrong? He kept left. The fact nobady else was doing so is not his fault. While it was a bit stupid to be "making a point" in that manner he has now got himself banned.I expect at some point i will suffer the same fate as I have taken to simply keeping left and passing cars on my right rather than moving over two lanes to pass them.
There's keeping to the left (maintaining a constant speed), passing on the inside (common occurrence and something I find myself doing with increasing regularity owing to the shocking lane discipline shown on our motorways), and then there's weaving around like a weaving thing. This was clearly a case of the latter.

Plus, every single undertake was to a lorry or a van. You do realise that you can't see through metal over your left shoulder?
Yeah someone should really invent some device that allows you to see down the far side of a vehicle....it would have to be reflective and mounted on the passenger side somewhere the driver could see it.....JimSuperSix said:

Sat in L2 with nothing in L1, gets undertaken and cut-up, so decides to go full on bell-end and do the same thing as revenge, then get arsey and straddle both lanes all while bemoaning that the other guy is the prick.
They really are a special breed.

I dont disagree he was driving like a bit of a dick but as I pointed out it seemed to me he was trying to make a point to al the other drivers that they were not using the lanes correctly. He was wrong to do it that way but on the flip side I do 40k miles a year and am often tempted to do similar but dont wish to lose my license.
They are using the lanes correctly.Traffic in lane 2 is travelling faster than the traffic in lane 1, overtaking it.

Scooter rider vs pedestrians.

I'm on the side of the pedestrians.

Beardy guy clearly isn't all there. Pedestrians stopping him could probably have handled it better, but I really don't understand why they gave him his keys back and let him get back on the bike.Splitting opinions all over Facebook.

seems simple.
A citizens arrest can be made if it does not appear reasonably practicable for a police constable to make the arrest instead, and if the person making the arrest has reasonable grounds to believe that such an arrest is necessary to prevent the person being arrested from: (a) causing physical injury to himself or any other person; (b) suffering physical injury; (c) causing loss of or damage to property; or (d) making off before a constable can assume responsibility for him.

Seems to be missing the incident that caused it. It sort of indicates the bike rider is vulnerable.... and the baying mob seem to adopt quite a bullying stance. Rider obviously scared for his safety... pushed to the ground, and what seemingly was pushed to ride into the wall. Not really surprised he tried to leg it.
Would the baying mob be so aggressive toward a proper big biker bloke? Probably not!
Always a lot of pedestrians around St Ives over the summer and is to be avoided. I have avoided st ives for years!
I was sort of hoping beardy was going to batter the bloke who nicked the keys!
However pretty st driving!!
