That first one! eek Quite obvious the cam car goaded the Audi into an overtake by driving very slowly and then speeding up to block it, as speed when video started was just 15 mph, then suddenly starts speeding up to 40 by the time the Audi comes into view, then you can see the flashing of the cam car's headlights reflected off the Audi, and this seems to be what caused the Audi driver to stop, presumably so they could 'have a word' with cam car driver, who then proceeds to crash into him despite having plenty of time to brake, and even having an exit to the right that they could pull into to avoid the stationary Audi hehe

I do wonder who the insurance companies would decide is at fault there.

Lower than that - 12mph, which makes me think that they've possibly been indulging in a bit of brake-testing of their own. They then went on to pile into the back of the car in front @ 48mph, with no apparent effort to stop.

That clip certainly doesn't make them look like the innocent party. Much more of a "when tts collide".

The bit where he says 'fk it', just before steering into the Audi rather than the empty space to the left adds tt points.

I'm sure another 20 seconds of video and there would be bigger story.

There is still no excuse for hitting the back of the Merc. He had plenty of time to react and stop. He choose to have that accident.

If he didn't have the dashcam to prove he has right(which he actually isn't) he would have stopped. Another driver having a needless accident or near miss thinking the dashcam would prove they were wronged.

this is the road, no reason to slow down. The brake checked stopped in the middle to stop him getting round, there is clearly more to it.

Yep, hopefully their insurance companies will reject both claims based on his footage.

You can see him get off the brakes as he says "fk it"... Have we hit peak dashcam wker?

6.10. The DCW can see for ages there is a car on the wrong side of the road. He doesn't even flinch and ends up having a near miss.

He nearly played his part in a very serious incident for no reason. Hopefully the overtaking car didn't hit the other car inside who also looks as if they didn't slow down either.

Not only doesn't slow down, but actually speeds up! Crazy, you'd at least slow a little, even if you thought there was plenty of room.

It really is silly what DCWs are willing to do for clips and attention. With 100mph+ closing speeds that would likely be a fatality.

The worst part is he's sharing that video not realising he's part of the problem. The same for the first clip here too.

I genuinely believe it's time to ban dashcams from the road. They make people do stupid stuff like this.

What we need is more police officers attending accidents and prosecuting stupid driving. That'd put a stop to it in short order.

A few tts on YouTube I'd say. The majority would be like me and just want extra backup if needed should an accident happen.

A few? Every set of clips for years is made up largely of DCW creating incidents out of nothing. The internet is full of unnecessary and dangerous clips. This video is full of more DCWs putting people at risk. One is a completely avoidable crash and the other one I highlighted the DCW chose to put everyone's lives at risk, but they aren't the only DCWs playing their part for the camera in this video.

It's not a small problem. It's a serious problem. At the very least making the clips public should be banned even though i do actually enjoy watching them.

As a percentage of drivers the DCWs are massively outnumbered.

Yes, and there are plenty of people doing stupid things without uploading footage. The really scary thing is not that people create incidents for the camera (of course some do), it's that there are people out there who really don't understand that cutting across roundabouts creates near misses, or that confronted with an oncoming misjudged overtake it is THEIR responsibility to act, not make matters worse by maintaining speed whilst flashing lights.
