It's not the car, it's type of person who desires that sort of car. A percentage of people have dormant anti-social behaviour which is enabled when they feel as though they are of a higher social status. Seeing as much of the western world views cars as a sign of social status, when these people jump into a Audi, BMW, Merc, RR, etc, this anti-social behaviour is unlocked.
They drive aggressively because most of their encounters with other drivers leave them feeling that their pseudo higher status is being disrespected.

I think this is nonsenseI am still the same person and driver whether I am driving my Audi A6, my Evora, my wifes Octavia Scout, my daughter's fiesta or my sons Fabia.
ps. The Evora is by far the best though at making people get out of the way

A sample size of one doesn't mean much really, there will be people in all makes driving badly / well. But as Lyonspride mentions the type of mentality that drives badly / aggressively is also attracted to certain image vehicles, and Audi is currently the top combination of desirable and attainable to these types , and IMHO the Insignia is what these sort of people end up in when they're not high enough up the pole to get an Audi.
Except in our instance I was steering her to a 320d, we could have had one. She instead decided a 3 year newer car with just over 20k on the clock made much more sense than a 60k BMW, considering she was going to be putting a further 25k P/A on it. Fermit and Sexy Sarah said:

I don't think you understand how generalisations work.I'm not sure it applies like that anymore in office car parks, I've noticed it's those in the junior positions that are more likely to be spending more per month on new PCP'd German metal than the older staff earning more which seem to be happy driving round in decade old Volvo XC90's and the like.

At the other end of the scale there's my 75 year old retired bank manager father, credit cards with large enough limits to buy a new car, uses them for 30 day interest free. Drives a VW Touran worth £1500 tops.
I'd bet the vast majority of new German motors on our roads are PCP'd up to their tits.
