Many cars also become classics because of historical significance. Given the Roadster was the first production car with lithium-ion cells and moved the game on several notches in range and performance I'd suggest it will be very desirable for collectors. Especially once electric cars become the norm and predudice reduces. The lack of depreciation looks like a good indicator that it'll be a classic too. Do many people collect old batteries??

If so, this "old" Tesla Roadster will offer better dynamics than when new. Quite a contrast to the expectations and costs of looking after an older ICE car.
