A poor mans VW Golf.
Is the equivalent Golf worth the premium over the focus? If we're talking every day shopping models the golf is always well over the price of the equivalent focus and never drives as nicely. Does it look better on the drive? Maybe, if you care about image

Looks like LED headlights can be optioned

I would imagine that the ecoboost from the mk3 will make it's way into this with the 150ps or whatever it is

Led only a option on ST line X and the titanium X, standard on vigiline

Which Frannkly is a utter shambles. You get LED headlights on a Honda jazz now, they are a option on every golf, standard on a A3.

What are ford playing at?

The base spec is quite good though, lane keeping aid etc.

What’s post collision braking?

Ford are allegedly dropping Focus/Fiesta from their US line up so maybe this is going be some sort of long term global strategy and hence why the equipment on these is so poor.

It seems a lot of cars are adopting this huge gopping grille feature for the front end.

It's like a hybrid of a carps mouth, a cookie cutter and some sort of hexagonal grid flooring.

All the safety gubbins need to be on the base spec nowadays in order to get EuroNCAP brownie points.

A pity adaptive headlights aren't on EuroNCAP's agenda.

Pretty sure it just applies the brakes as the airbags activate.
