I hate the term “calling out” but why on earth did LLF have cause to give abuse to Danny? Danny strikes me as one of very few people on YouTube that doesn’t tailor his content for revenue purposes. Comes across as just a genuine bloke and clearly can pedal a car.

Yeah, he didn't understand how quotes work here, so he took a screenshot of someone whose post included quoting Danny, believing it was Danny's post, and slapped it up on Instagram (because drama fuels social media).

talking of more social media drama, looks like TGE and Archie have posted an apologies video. I am pretty surprised about the amount of fall out, its way over the top. Looks like there are all these random 'exposed' video's now popping up about the prank.

Either he's a terrible driver or the car is putting out nowhere near 1000hp, because a 10.9 is dreadful for that level of power and grip. A tune only F10 M5 with street tyres will run an 11.4, so his car should be running much, much faster.

A standard F90 has been officially recorded at 10.6, with drag radials. It’s nothing like 1000. Hellcats at 1000 in the states are running 9.6, not that I care about such antics.

I seem to have picked it up differently to you guys.

I understood what the owner said to mean it ran 10.6 on the R888s he has fitted on the road wheels with his old spec (“stage 2 tune”) and he hasn’t run it yet with the new power upgrades and the drag radials.

It doesn’t matter what he said. It’s bullst. There is no such thing as a 1000hp F10. Not even close.

Ignoring all the irrelevant drama, Misha's lastest content has been very good. I know the R8 has been done to death on YouTube but I still enjoyed their views on it. They're just 2 people who are genuinely passionate about their cars who happen to have the best track in the world to play on and know how to drive it.

There's some interesting stuff going on in the UK car side of it, it just might not be that obvious. I started uploading some content on my Corvette build a few months back as a way of escaping the keyboard for a bit (adds a new dimension to documenting the build I suppose). It's had more views than I expected so far, and will probably only sit at 20 or so subscribers for a while, but I only really started filming stuff to explain things that are tricky to explain on the PH build thread.

Around 3500 horsepower, 1050kg. Quite brisk acceleration, not very frugal, quite noisy. Ironically, as much as it's common for YouTubers to brand everything as 'Chaos'... the car's former name was exactly that, for good reason

Whats the background to that particular car? Given that they have done their own oil change, offer unlimited mileages, and generally thrash the nuts of things, I'm guessing that residual values aren't a big concern.

What doesn't add up? It's a rental car - with the mileages it does it was going to plummet in value anyway, and the extra press his company is getting from giving the car to loads of YouTubers, plus the articles about it being RWD are probably completely offsetting any costs. It's all about marketing, I really don't see what doesn't add up.

The funding of his fleet, the very rapid growth of the business, rental prices being dictated by future residual values etc .
Rental price is the holding cost amortised over the period of time between the purchase and disposal - Buy a car for £100k, sell at £50k a year later, it needs to earn at least £1000 per week to break even, before servicing tyres, funding costs, business contribution are taken into account, and that is assuming 100% utilisation. Let's face it, would you buy an ex-Aleem Aventador?

That's a Mansory Bugatti I think - so not cheap to start with, but given that it's been ragged stupid and wont have any provenance and a tarnished reputation at resale, somebody is going to take a massive hit on that. Even at £20k a day - https://www.royaltyexoticcars.com/
Realistically - how much would that sell for after a year or two?

The funding/interest costs for that fleet is going to be huge, before any service costs are considered.

This is always something i've been worried about online, hence most of my content is track driving with no come back on me. There is one video of an EK9 on the public road but it isnt driven by anyone I know (hmm)

I've been watching/listening to a lot of the old 'behind the glass' episodes mostly with Sam & Tony.

I think I enjoy the listening aspect as I can get on with other tasks and have it on in the background, there's usually some good talking points. I thought Tony was annoying when first watching one of TGE's video's (Sure it was the Lambo one) but have really grown to like him on the podcast set up with Sam.

Behind the Glass is a real pleasure of mine too, they come across incredibly well and are very listenable to.

You might want to ignore one coming in a month or so though, it’ll have me jabbering away on it.
