That's a pity, as it's one of Sam's best videos to date IMO. I had a quick chat with him about it prior to the podcast recording last week (that was good fun, if a tad awkward in places). It's an interesting insight into a world completely alien for normal people i.e. car enthusiasts who might have experienced quick road cars, but haven't experienced quick race cars.Many who get the opportunity to have the Infiniti F1 experience, use it for bragging rights - for Sam I got the impression it was something very special and emotional for him, and the realisation of a lifelong dream. Achieving something that big to you as an individual, often makes it tricky to articulate yourself afterward when it comes to describing it. He's one of the good guys in the YouTube 'community' and it's nice he got the chance to experience something so special.

If the powers that be allow the two to race (there's some safety issues with closing speeds being quite large in the event of an incident), it might be fun. The Corvette should be finished in time for testing next Easter (build thread running in readers cars). It should be quite brisk, I'm targeting 5.90's/250mph. To put it into perspective, a Chiron takes about 32 seconds to get to 250mph I think. When we've ironed out the bugs, I'd love to plan something like that, Tim 
Under normal circumstances at a RWYB, we wouldn't be allowed to run against 'normal' cars as the track needs glue (which tends to break regular car half shafts) and the marshals have to don their full kit in the event of a fuel / oil fire.

I can imagine. Even the old Formula Opel would rival a McLaren F1 to 100mph so a pukka drag car must be other worldly.A pal sent me a link to this channel because I like old 911's. I especially like one's that'll slay modern super cars. Mind you, there a Mitsubishi Evo that's pretty brisk too.

if you get a few videos that bang subs go up purely off them videos, hes got a couple that have over 1million, in comparison to lockwood who gets consistently insane viewing figures for a low sub count, he is getting similar numbers to Shmee but with only around 35k subs, his last 4 videos have more views than ive got all month & he has less subscribers than meaji621 said:

But you cannot please everyone all of the time, and I am sure that married 37 year old Northerners who are now living in the South are not your target audience!I used to find Lee Lockwood annoying, but he's young and enthusiastic. I think I like his channel because it is small and doesn't have the bells and whistles of others. I care very little for supercars etc, so ant channels that have them as part of the content I do not watch (sorry shmee).
The cars leaving meets / actual meets with people driving like dicks videos from the likes of AdamC3046 I do not give time to either. He recently did a video not of this ilk which I watched all the way through as I thought it was one of his best efforts, but, these types of videos do not get the views, so I can understand why he puts out what he does. The demographic gets what the demographic wants, which ultimately leads to the demographic wanting what the demographic gets (I may have plagiarised The Jam there...)

Anyone watched Doug's new video with the Ford GT? He does quite a good bit on it where he explains his reasons for purchasing the car he wanted, vs what YouTube wanted him to buy.
I quite enjoyed it, I think I'm on a similar level to Doug in weirdness/how he portrays himself. Perhaps he isn't that weird IRL.
Anyway, he also spoke about how YouTubers channels evolve with car purchases, and states how some YouTubers will use this to keep their channels fresh, and keep the numbers rolling in.
Perhaps that's what you're seeing with the other chap Ads.

I quite like Doug’s presentation/demeanour and watched quite a few of his videos but they are a bit samey, just watch now if he does a particularly interesting car, too many bog standard boring American runarounds recently.
