Do you have a proper drag car? Have been toying with the idea of doing a drag race video with a seriously fast modern super/hypercar and a drag car, just to show how sillyfast they really are.
If the powers that be allow the two to race (there's some safety issues with closing speeds being quite large in the event of an incident), it might be fun. The Corvette should be finished in time for testing next Easter (build thread running in readers cars). It should be quite brisk, I'm targeting 5.90's/250mph. To put it into perspective, a Chiron takes about 32 seconds to get to 250mph I think. When we've ironed out the bugs, I'd love to plan something like that, Tim thumbup

Under normal circumstances at a RWYB, we wouldn't be allowed to run against 'normal' cars as the track needs glue (which tends to break regular car half shafts) and the marshals have to don their full kit in the event of a fuel / oil fire.

Edit: I guess it's better than the reverse so many youtubers have! I'll stop moaning!
haha Mine is pretty normal compared to bigger youtubers ive looked at, most people who have 1mil subs get around 50-150k views a video, so i think mines fairly sound for where im at. No complaints from me, but obviously i am always looking to see how i can improve it where possible, just hard like the last guy said, cant please everyone so now im just focusing on having a good time while i make these

Has to be a priority I reckon. You and Dan both show real enthusiasm for what you're doing and filming is secondary, which is way preferable for me. Video's for the sake of video's are seldom very entertaining. You looked to be having a great time in the E30. smile

That's the best way to look at it. Enjoy doing what you want to do. I think the channels that do what the subscribers basically tell them to do are ultimately more popular, but at some point I feel there may be resentment from the vlogger towards their viewers. Doing what you want to do may not make your channel huge, but you'll enjoy it more and not "sell out". Some of the things you vlog about etc I aren't interested in, but then you'll upload something that I am. I reckon if you attended car meets and film lots of bell ends drifting around roundabouts etc you'd soon get more popular.....

Thing is theres proven methods of growing youtube channels which im sure we're all aware of, if someones wanting to do this to grow a youtube channel then fair play, but i cant be bothered, I love what i create for the most part & its a lot of fun. Kind of always hoped that when im old as hell and i have kids they can watch it back and be like, oh sweet dad had some rad cars and could drive. haha,

went to a drift day yesterday n barely did any "Vlogging" Just had go pro on the helmet recording for most of the day, was absolute bliss, still will get a video out of it too and it was no effort. Mainly film helmet cam in case i Crash or cause a crash (which i did! Haha) &/ or can watch back my progression and see where im going wrong. All i really want is to be a great driver, anything else that comes from it is just a bonus, even if my accent / lingo annoys people along the way lol

its all love at the end of the day & I still think there will be another platform come out of nowhere to be even bigger than Youtube at some point.

Just lucky i dont rely on mine for my income

I respect what you do, and the fact you do it for you and no one else is a tick in my book. You don't do clickbait (often) and you do not seem to be in it for the adulation of others.

It was tongue in cheek re the lingo, I cannot say much, I'm from Hull hehe You're alright kid, plus you own an M3 so you can't be all that bad anyway wink

Agreed. Bit harsh, the title is not in capitals and Sam appears pretty genuine for me. I preferred JWW in the beginning but now prefer STG for whatever reason that is.
Im exactly the same JWW now STG, its like Sam is just a bit more genuine, passionate etc, although it does bug me that he keeps saying he knows bugger all about cars

They're all a good bunch of chaps - Sam in particular is just a normal car enthusiast like the rest of us. Adam (and Finn) are an easy watch for the same reason. Sam knows more than he lets on, and the content is aimed at a middle-of-the-road viewer who knows a little, but not necessarily a lot about the inner workings of cars. As I found to my cost, if you get a bit too technical in a vlog, the audience just turn off and watch a cat video instead.

My frustration with JWW is his fetish for DCT's (his beard trimmer would sport a dual clutch if it could) and his calling anything that isn't a 675LT or 720S, a GT car...

Ex England football manager (rip). Though I may have remembered the quote slightly wrong - I think it is "Do I not like that".

i wonder if the whole thing is real or is a fake and hes just an actor?! As nobody can be that stupid to go on 'tv' and say what he said?

Its funny how through the programme the legit company was saying how bad these companies/persons are yet then says he came from the same background.

I googled his name & the first thing is urban dictionary making fun of his rap career or something like that so i assume he is real
