I do wish he would stop banging on about exhausts though....
He keeps calling himself an exhaust expert yet when his car was up on the ramp the mechanic had to show him what the valves and the back box were.As for Seb Delaney he seems to be dying a slow death. The figures for his vids are just getting lower and lower. Think he needs to find a new vocation.

Yeh, his daily subscriber count is in the single digits. He is bleeding chips. Not sure how long manufacturers will use his platform to promote their cars... Check the utter bewilderment in the guy's face when that wee tadger chaps the wrong door with his fake palm tree.

Loved Sam’s latest vid from Bicester Heritage, he really does deserve more subs.
Not necessarily Beefdog - Sam seems to have built up a large following of real supporters and general car enthusiasts whereas other YouTubers of a similar ilk (with more followers) have a following built up of some real supports and general car enthusiasts but also a large amount of people (usually young kids) who have followed them off the back of one of the usual clickbait-y titles ("I JUST BOUGHT X WORTH £XXX,XXX!") and don't show interest in anything else. This shows in the number of views Sam gets after a few days compared to those other YouTubers - He's arguably in a much better position. His channel is growing organically whereas those others (SOL/TGE/Archie) have peaked and are now showing signs of a decline. With the exception of TGE, look at the comments on their latest videos...

I enjoyed it, although I'm old so hardly the target demographic anyway. I do wonder how many youngsters will be disappointed at vids with a lack of high price super car type stuff though? If he's going to try and do this 'world drive' in a classic though, I would definitely go with air cooled 911 or something strong and simple, like a BMW 2002.
Without wishing to get bogged down in the whole 'kick-starter' thing, I see it has gone from £5K to £25k!
You would think after all this time he would have a bit of mechanical knowledge and general knowledge about cars. Just goes to show.
IIRC S150 had a similar faux pas moment when his mini hit a bump and triggered the fuel cut / crash sensor which he could not bottom and ended up calling the AA who came out and pressed the button and got him going again...

Shmee, I've noticed you have started to put full videos up on Facebook recently (specifically the AMG GT 4 Door) and was wondering why now? Have Facebook started to pay view/ad revenue like youtube or is it something the manufacturers request when partnering with them? I'd be interested to know what affect (if any) it has on your Youtube views and if you think it's something we'll see more of from yourself and others.

So would I but that won't cut it with the 'yoof' who will want something newer and more exotic.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
