Great post.
AV really is the worst of the breed.
PS - I understand it was an 8 figure sum
Sorry, you are correct. I cannot count as never been in a position to need to define between single millions and tens..AV really is the worst of the breed.

In a way I feel a bit sorry for the chap, albeit he doesn’t help himself. I get the impression he’s trying to define himself on th back of a very successful father who himself found himself in the right place at the right time but also grasped that opportunity with both hands and made it what it is. I worked in the buy side of that industry at the time it was created and developed and saw it evolving. I have a contact/friend who in fact also created a similar business and made multiple millions off it also (there were 4 real main players operating in the field) and it was impressive to witness. Filling those shoes as the son is an almost impossible task and I see a guy who is trying to find his own success or at least an attempt at it without really knowing his own skill set but armed with a load of dosh. That said, I also feel for those impressionable viewers who are ‘learning’ from the basic information spouted that perhaps is very different when backed by a significant insurance policy. Money makes money. It always has if you can weather all storms.

Thanks for that - very interesting watch. His brother does most of the talking which surprised me and seems to be the driving force behind their main business. An honest discussion.
Yeah that surprised me to be honest, from the Youtube videos Tom comes across as the more outgoing brother but the interview appeared to show the opposite. Seems that Tom is astute enough though to realise what works online and has tailored his content to get the most engagement.
Got any links to them pushing binary/bitcoin? I don't recall this.
Back in the day when I worked as a 'banker' (true :hehe) we employed a guy where Law and accounting degrees were required. He had a very impressive CV. He got on everyones tits. Big mouth, thought he was the boss. One day I was talking to him about the Law and laughing about the standard contract cases we had to learn. He looked like a deer in the headlights. I smelt a rat. I then mentioned the final qualifying exams to gain 'CA' chartered accountant etc. Again he was vague. I grabbed his CV and called the University he noted. Never attended. All fake. I passed it to HR.He was sacked the following morning.
The take away on Social Media is you can say anything and it's all of a sudden, fact. If you're young and impressionable, it's right up your alley. And i'm not trolling.

Truth is we would all mostly do the same I expect, by which I mean leverage a good start on life.
There are though distinct differences between being subtle about it and down right disengenous

I couldn't care less if he is a barrister or not, actually I couldn't care less about his CV, finances, fashion choices etc
I just enjoy watching some of his content and enjoyed the interview with him and his brother. Why does that upset you so much?!
I dread to think what you write online about rapists, criminals and pedophiles if this stuff rattles you so much.
Anyone catch me on Mo Vlogs the other day? @1.36

It's not often you hear folk complain their car is a manual.
And only 4 stud wheels too. Rubbish!Gonzo0 said:
James says he is a Barrister but is he actually a practicing one? Probably not...also criminal law is not that well paid...legal aid cuts make sure of that!
An interesting profession, but ending up having to defend some pretty nasty crims, is something I'd be hard pressed to find the enthusiasm for.BTW, someone on here once claimed I was obsessed with LLF, which was a slightly bizarre statement at that time, because I’d never even heard of LLF. Anyways, I have since caught up with his channel, and yes there are few issues, but overall far more pistonhead than poserhead, so gets the thumbs up from me

He's not according to this, but I don't know if this is a definitive resource - https://www.barstandardsboard.org.uk/regulatory-re...

That link does emphasise ‘practising’. Looks like you have to mail their Records Office, if they’re not practising: https://www.barstandardsboard.org.uk/regulatory-re...
What I’m finding harder to believe is that TGE is a qualified at anything.

Are you sure you are right ?
I have to say there don’t seem to be any mentions of an attachment to chambers out in google land.
Very odd.
138 pages in and the disturbing takeaway from all of this is the money for nothing / I deserve a Lambo society it's inevitably creating with the younger generation.
There is no other way to summarise it, generally speaking it's all just smoke and mirrors.
(P.S. I know I shouldn't but I actually quite enjoy the raw and straight up ragging of cars LLF delivers, without trying to be someone he's not at the same time).

I think the trick with LLF given the driving on his vids is trying not to be somewhere he is at the same time There is no other way to summarise it, generally speaking it's all just smoke and mirrors.
