There’s the GT3, which is a GT3 spec racecar.

The Spider is the roof off variant, same as a 488 Spider.

Luxury & Performance are trim levels / equipment groupings, not special editions.

What special editions am I missing?
There was a track theme special edition a Pacific special edition and a velocity yes it might be paintwork but it was specific spec by McLaren and if you type in online 720s special editions it tells you,

While I'm not trying to defend McLaren and their different editions...

Ferrari made 70 different 70th anniversary 488 GTBs, and the same set of 70 488 Spiders, and we've already had the Pista Piloti before the Pistas even hit the roads themselves.

This is just the norm now!

Isn't that the car Ferrari tell you you're buying one, and they tell you which exact spec...

Did you see the brown one with the tartan seats on the Mille Miglia? Poor guy whoever "had the chance" to buy that one.

Didn’t realise Ferrari had done that tbh

Has this been posted yet? Sensational lap of Silverstone with Nico in a 918. Even Archie guffawing away in the passenger seat doesn't spoil it. Boy, Nico can drive (turn up the volume)......

You’re being ‘that online guy’ - arguing with people who know actual information, with information you googled. Don’t be that guy.

They aren’t special editions, a special edition is a limited run of a car in multiples. The 720s you speak of are a technical demonstration by MSO of what is possible. Move on, or take this to the McLaren forum where you’ll encounter a lovely chap called RamboLambo hehe

Just last week he posted a comment about how much he hates Mclaren on a random post and it triggered a well known P1/Senna owner on IG. It was hilarious when this owner posted the comment on his IG story and confronted TGE. TGE had to back off and I believe delete his comments.

The day he gets rid of the SV he'll bash it and call it a waste of money and the worst car he owned. Maybe he doesn't check the classifieds but they are dropping in value and not sure how much demand they'll be for them when the boatload of SVJs start getting listed.
Who was it and what was said
Well i,m not surprised he dislikes Mclaren. You buy there latest model as it comes out 720S, when you want to sell it you offer it back to the dealer who is no longer interested in buying it back or helping and i,m sure he wasn't looking for what he paid either. Bad form Mclaren and not at all unique check out the Mclaren forum.
Never heard him moan about the Lambo, and very much doubt he will.
I find it amusing that supercar owners feel that they should be protected by depreciation. Tom didn't bad mouth Mclaren untill he was clear of it.

He's a smart guy and for all his bluster about debt and can't afford it. The fact he has a position in an investment firm and supports a successful business just goes to show that he's looking for these assets to work for their money and especially in promoting awareness of him and his brand.

He's playing the speculation game. So when one goes south it's going to hurt because he wants to move it on with little impact and as is evident moan for ever more about it

I'd enjoyed that (despite Archie) too. The 918 is simply an immense car.

Funny when you read some of the comments (made previously in other threads) about Nico's skills as a driver. He was properly ragging that 918. Great to watch skills like that.

Paul/supercars of london is getting quite a number of unhappy comments. And I do wonder in how he will be able to catch up as I do not think his next car will be able to bring his channel back to its glory days.
Maybe he should have waited longer before buying the lp640.
The comments have been like that for a while tbf

Hmmm, I think he works in the middle office of a high street retail bank - he is not some master of the universe type.
I would imagine that for some years the majority of his income has come from LDNM and the other businesses rather than the 9-5 job.

As I said I openly googled it, but you always see on here “another special edition Mclaren” then a news piece on it, which has obviously led me to assume it’s a special edition

even if his channel completely died he'd still be able to rely on his Instagram for work, his following on there is incredible, same with Archie Hamilton etc, all their instagrams are strong enough following / interaction to get them work in the car media world

thing is it works, it brings in the views,

i picked up an ep3 type r and its the most popular video ive posted since getting pulled over by the police & that beats out 2 collabs - one of them being with a youtuber with 2 million subs, just the way it is

Just watching STG's new "I've wrapped my porsche" video.

The wrap looks like it is really bumpy, is that type of finish normal for a wrapped car? It's more obvious in a moving image but you can see an example here:

Weirdly that EP3 video is the only one of yours I've seen pop up on my feed, the others I have to go hunting for

It’s good that you imagine these things but is a completely pointless comment.

But I am sure SOL would prefer to create content that will be able to keep his channel and brand alive as opposed to just being an influencer. Sponsored monetized videos are what create content and a healthy income.
TGE is able to generate tens of thousands of views from a younger audience. He has a consistent amount of figures when it comes to likes, view count and sub count.
I feel like it is going to be very difficult for SOL to compete in the youtube space when other content creators are miles ahead.
