A club. Oh ok. What, just hang out listening to sounds
I'm not so sure that this NVN initiative is going to be a rip roaring success. I wish all businessmen success (assuming they play fair) and specifically wish James good luck with this venture - however, this operation feels a bit "contrived" to me and has elements of jumping on the PPF bandwagon. I think I'm correct in saying that a comment posted below his latest video requesting "transparency" with his business dealings was deleted. I'm not defending the post, but it maybe unearthed something or struck a nerve. If he opens a "noisy exhaust" fitting place next, then I will really think he's jumped on the cliche bandwagon. Time will tell, cream rises to the top.

Here’s the gripe with this type of YouTube content. Classic fakery. The headline. 5m on day one. It looks like a free ppf to me. Mr J don’t make your videos second rate like many other tts.

Ha it could be a YouTuber centre so room one has a selection of supercars to choose from (the agonising over which car to buy next video)

Next room can be the collection room - the collection vid

Next room it gets wrapped for the wrap video

Next room for the noisy exhaust vid

Next room is just a sofa so you can make a video having a dig at mclaren

Final room you can make a video summing up how awesome the car has been before returning to room one. It would cut down a lot on costs!

I can’t see many of the high end clients that NVN are targeting wanting to sit in goldfish bowl in an industrial unit in north London for hours on end, irrespective of how good the coffee might be or how exclusive the sofas are?

How many of them will actually visit the place? I’d have thought that most of the cars they are aiming to work on will be trucked in and out? It doesn’t like the sort of place that ‘normal’ people are going to be able to afford to go to.

It seems to me like a bit of a vanity project for Mr JWW - hope it works out for him but I’m not sure that it’s sustainable in the long term.

Pretty sure that Mr JWW's entire channel and his life are just one big vanity project so it should work out OK for him. Lifestyle influencer innit.

Bazinga.

I'm always up for supporting people with new business but i think James might have overestimated how many other James there are.

There will be an initial flood of interest and people who maybe want to get on the channel but then it's on with the hard graft and doing ppf is a total pain in the butt job.

The costs involved in opening the doors on these types of premises are high easily 100k pa to keep the lights on with a couple of staff. You'll see that there's a reason that these types of business are owner operator based. I would guess its some kind of joint venture which makes the chances of success even less still.

Just spotted Shmee's December M2 Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4V-LKOylKwo

Makes me want an M2, though. A friend has just picked one up and they're looking like a good used buy. Damn you.

Would be good to see you give it some welly!

Somehow I think it's pretty likely that a) MrJWW knew where Topaz were based and that b) He and his investors have gone into this business with their eyes wide open.

Have been watching Vehicle Villains and enjoyed seeing them and their supercharged E92 M3 at Knockhill. Especially the bit where they try and stay with the Lambo. Less than 1k subscribers at the moment but I imagine that may change.

Good to see Dan is back with a couple of vids too. I'm liking his MR2 more than I did also.

Jww isn't a director of the company so looks like yet more YouTube smoke and mirrors. When is this stuff ever going to end?

Well its not really is it? If you goigle NvN london it's like the third result.

The issue of not being a director also features prominently but unanswered on the comments section of the most recent YouTube video. Its being presented as "us" "we" etc it's opaque at best.

I imagine he will be a “Brand Ambassador” or something - I’m sure he could still have a financial interest without being a director?

So what is NVM's unique selling point - some over priced chesterfield to sit on? If NVM had been located in another part of London then I would just says its competition in the ppf market place but... nothing more lame than piggybacking off the success of another company by moving in next door to do the exact same thing.
